It would have been nice if Kyle Shanahan let us know it would be Elijah Mitchell, not Christian McCaffrey, who would be heavily featured in their SNF win over the Chargers.

That sent us deeper into the red, but there’s still lots of time to recover, and we’ve got a good one on Sunday Night for it, as the Kansas City Chiefs visit the LA Chargers.

Let’s look at the the NFL player props available for this matchup and share a few of our favorite picks.

Odds as of November 20 at DraftKings Sportsbook

In the odds above, Justin Herbert is favored to throw for more than two TD passes, while Patrick Mahomes has the top passing total of 292.5. KC rook Isiah Pacheco has the highest listed rush total at 53.5, while the highest receiving total is given to Travis Kelce at 77.5 yards.

Prop #1: Patrick Mahomes TD Passes and Passing Yards

Anyone else feeling the Chiefs’ offense has sort of figured it out? It all starts with Patrick Mahomes, who has thrown for at least 330 yards in his last four starts, including topping 400 yards passing twice.

Last week, he ripped the Jags with 331 yards passing and four touchdown strikes. He’s now thrown three or more TD’s five times this season, and leads the NFL with 25 touchdown passes

LA’s pass defense has allowed the 8th-fewest total passing yards in the league this year, and they did hold Mahomes to 235 pass yards and a pair of TD’s in their 27-24 win in Week 2.

Still, betting on the best QB in the NFL to have a big day is never a bad bet.

Picks:

  • Mahomes OVER 292.5 yards passing (-115); 1 unit to win 0.87 units
  • Mahomes OVER 2.5 TD passes (+110); 1.5 units to win 1.65 units

Prop #2: Kadarius Toney Receiving Yards

With Juju Smith-Schuster (concussion) and Mecole Hardman (abdominal) out in Week 11, the newly-acquired Toney should feature more in the KC pass plans.

With more attention — and Derwin James — probably focused on Travis Kelce, someone else in the Chiefs’ diversified passing attack is going to have to show up against the Chargers.

Toney showed what he could do last week, in just his second game with KC, when he hauled in four of five targets for 57 yards and a score.

Pick:

  • Toney OVER 50.5 receiving yards (-130); 1 unit to win 0.77 units
