  • Two high-powered offenses clash as the Baltimore Ravens host the Detroit Lions on MNF in Week 3
  • Both quarterbacks are playing at a high level, and I expect that to continue on Monday night
  • See the Lions vs Ravens player props and my favorite DET vs BAL prop picks for Monday Night Football

A potential shootout is brewing in Charm City as two of the league’s most dynamic offenses meet under the Monday night lights. The Baltimore Ravens (1-1, 1-0 home, 1-1 ATS) look to defend their home turf against the Detroit Lions (1-1, 0-1 away, 1-1 ATS) at M&T Bank Stadium on Monday Night Football (8:15 pm ET).

Detroit QB Jared Goff and Baltimore QB Lamar Jackson have both been efficient and relatively mistake-free through the first two weeks. My Lions vs Ravens player props hinge on both pivots continuing to execute at a high level.

The first table, below, lists the main passing, rushing, receiving, and TD scorer props for Lions vs Ravens. Under the table, find my three favorite Lions/Ravens player props to bet in the Week 3 MNF odds.

Lions vs Ravens Player Prop Pick #1: Goff Over 252.5 Passing Yards

Goff’s passing-yards line is as high as 265.5 (at Underdog) on Monday afternoon, and as low as 252.5 at BetRivers, with modest -117 juice on the under.

Facing a stout Ravens run defense that will likely force the Lions into a pass-heavy approach, Goff is well-positioned to maintain his high volume and surpass this total, especially if the game unfolds into the anticipated shootout.

The Baltimore pass defense was absolutely shredded for 394 yards by Josh Allen and the Bills in Week 1 before allowing 218 to the anemic Browns offense in Week 2. The Detroit passing game may have taken a slight step back after the departure of OC Ben Johnson, but Goff just torched the Bears for 334 yards on 82.1% passing in Week 2 and is still surrounded by elite playmakers.

It won’t be hard for the Lions to scheme up one-on-one advantages on a regular basis tonight.

DET Lions vs BAL Ravens Prop Pick #2: Lamar Jackson Under 0.5 Interceptions

This line is -180 or shorter at some books but still available at -168 at DraftKings.

Lamar Jackson has yet to throw an interception this season and I don’t expect him to start tonight against a Lions defense that has generated only one interception so far. Jackson’s efficiency and circumspect decision making render the under a high-probability outcome.

DET vs BAL Player Prop Pick #3: Flowers Over 69.5 Receiving Yards

My second prop bet tonight is Zay Flowers to go over 65.5 receiving yards. As with Goff’s passing-yards prop, this line has a wide discrepancy across books. It’s as high as 72.5 O/U at ESPN Bet and DraftKings, and as low as 69.5 O/U at BetMGM.

Flowers has emerged as Lamar Jackson’s primary target, exploding for 143 yards on nine targets in Week 1, and adding 75 yards on 11 targets in Week 2. With the Lions’ secondary having shown vulnerability to explosive plays, Flowers is in a prime position to exceed 69.5 receiving yards for a third straight game.

His consistent target share and big-play ability make the over 69.5 receiving yards a compelling play in what is expected to be a high-scoring affair.
