Wrapping up Week 13, the New York Giants (2-10) and New England Patriots (10-2) battle on Monday Night Football. Both teams will mercifully go on their bye week next week. ESPN will broadcast the 8:15 pm ET kickoff from Gillette Stadium on Dec. 1.

The Patriots are solid yet unspectacular home favorites in the MNF odds. The public is leaning with the Patriots to win by at least a touchdown.

Giants vs Patriots Betting Splits

As of Monday morning, the Patriots have the majority of the ATS handle as seven-point favorites in the NFL public betting percentages. The Pats are getting 56% of the ATS handle and a solid 55% of all bets. On the other side, the Giants are getting 44% of the ATS handle with 45% of placed bets. As touchdown favorites, the Patriots are getting a strong 92% of the moneyline handle across 93% of moneyline bets. The underdog Giants are only getting 8% of the handle with 7% of the bets.

The public is leaning toward MNF being a higher-score affair. 58% of the total handle is on over 46.5, with 56% of the bets coming in on the over. The under is attracting 42% of the betting handle and 44% of total bets.

NY Giants vs NE Patriots Injury Reports

Notably not on the injury report, Jaxson Dart has been a full participant in practice all week, and he will make his return to the lineup after missing two games. Dart has been a spark plug for the Giants, accounting for 17 touchdowns in his seven starts.

In terms of players with status designations, all five afflicted Giants are on the defense. In particular, the linebacker unit has been hit hard. Pass-rushing linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux is out with a shoulder injury. Thibodeaux had 2.5 sacks and nine quarterback hits this season. Reserve edge Victor Dimukeje is questionable with a knee injury.

In terms of off-ball linebackers, both Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles and Swayze Bozeman are questionable. If one or both miss Monday’s game, watch for Zaire Barnes and Neville Hewitt to have expanded roles.

In the secondary, Korie Black is questionable with a bicep injury. He is not slated to start this week as Paulson Adebo makes his return, but Adebo has not exactly been pristine from a health standpoint. Black has made two starts this season.

The biggest injury for the Patriots is that of left tackle Will Campbell. Campbell is on injured reserve after sustaining an injury last week in New England’s win over the Bengals. Campbell should be good to go for the playoffs, but the Patriots have several tough games after their bye that Campbell will miss.

Left guard Jared Wilson will also miss this week as he is out with an ankle injury. Wilson had played 11 of New England’s 12 games, just missing their Week 4 win over Carolina.

In Campbell and Wilson’s places, the Patriots are likely turning to Vederian Lowe at left tackle and Ben Brown at left guard. The Patriots could also opt to shuffle around the unit. Right guard Mike Onwenu has experience all across the line.

On defense, the Patriots will be without interior defender Khyiris Tonga. Tonga had played all 12 games, suiting up for 38% of New England’s snaps. Watch for Eric Gregory to play a bigger role.

Harold Landry is questionable with a knee injury. The seven-year veteran has not missed a game since he missedd the entire 2022 season with injury. Outside of missing one game as a rookie, his 2022 ACL injury is the only time Landry has missed action. He has 6.5 sacks on the season.

Special teams ace Brenden Schooler will miss his first game since 2022 with an ankle injury. Last season, Schooler was an All-Pro and earned a Pro Bowl nod.
