Remember when everyone bet on Travis Kelce proposing to Taylor Swift after the Super Bowl? That worked out great until the Chiefs got blown out by the Eagles. At least Kelce and Swift eventually got married, just not on the 50-yard line like sportsbooks teased.

This year, sportsbooks are back with celebrity Super Bowl props. The target? Cardi B and New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Bettors can wager on whether Diggs will propose on the field after Super Bowl 60 and whether Cardi B will wear his jersey to the game.

Will Stefon Diggs Propose to Cardi B?

The -4000 odds on No translate to a 97.6% implied probability. Sportsbooks are basically saying “this isn’t happening” while still taking action on dreamers willing to bet Yes at +1100.

The biggest problem? Cardi B is still legally married to Offset. She filed for divorce in July 2024, but the split isn’t finalized due to ongoing disputes over property and taxes. Cardi B said in September 2025 that she’s “practically still married” on a contract level.

A televised proposal while navigating a messy divorce would be legally and PR-wise a disaster. Georgia’s legitimation laws presume Offset is the legal father of Cardi’s newborn son with Diggs because the child was born during an existing marriage.

There were engagement rumors after Diggs called Cardi his “esposa” (wife) in a video, and she was seen wearing a large ring in December 2025. TMZ reported the ring was not an engagement piece.

The Patriots would also need to win Super Bowl 60 for this to have any shot. On-field proposals are almost exclusively a winner’s circle thing. New England enters as +190 underdogs against Seattle, giving them just a 34.5% implied probability of winning.

Even if the Patriots pull off the upset, Diggs has been quiet this postseason. He’s averaging roughly 24 yards per game through the playoffs. A lack of a dominant MVP-level performance usually kills these spotlight moments.

Will Cardi B Wear a Stefon Diggs Jersey?

The odds heavily favor No at -250, and Cardi B’s game day fashion history explains why. She’s treated Patriots games like a runway all season, showing up in designer archival pieces instead of team gear.

Against the Falcons in November, she wore head-to-toe Bottega Veneta burgundy leather. Against the Jets in December, she went with a vintage 1991 Chanel pink tweed and denim set. At the AFC Championship in Denver, she rocked custom gray leather by JAGNE with a Hermès bag.

Cardi B calls herself “WAG material” and uses NFL games as high-fashion moments. She’s not your typical girlfriend throwing on a jersey and jeans.

She does own a Stefon Diggs Patriots jersey though. She wore his navy blue No. 8 jersey during her appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast in September 2025, though she paired it with a plaid miniskirt and pearls. “I wanted to do a jersey, but I wanted to do my style,” she told the host.

The prop can be settled via social media, which changes things. Even if she wears Chanel for the broadcast, she could post a pre-game or post-game photo in the jersey on Instagram. That would cash the Yes bet at +170.

Super Bowl 60 Betting Outlook

The Patriots enter Super Bowl 60 as +190 moneyline underdogs against the Seattle Seahawks. Seattle opened as 4.5-point favorites and climbed as high as -5.5 at several sportsbooks after heavy early support.

According to NFL Public betting, 67% of spread bets and 75% of spread money is on the Seahawks. The general consensus is Seattle wins and covers in SB 60.

This is Diggs’ first Super Bowl appearance after two previous conference championship game failures with the Vikings and Bills. He’s chasing his first ring at 32 years old.

Super Bowl betting markets always include novelty props like coin toss results, Gatorade colors, and celebrity appearances. The Diggs proposal prop and Cardi B jersey prop fit that tradition, even if the odds imply neither is likely to happen.
