The preseason Week 2 point spreads range from 1.5 to 6.5 while the game totals show an identical five-point gap from low to high; the lowest total on the board at the moment is 36.5 while the highest is 41.5.

Biggest Preseason Week 2 Spread: Cardinals vs Broncos

The biggest spread on the board sees the Denver Broncos (1-0 SU, 1-0 ATS, 1-0 O/U) favored by 6.5 points at home against the Arizona Cardinals (1-0 SU, 1-0 ATS, 0-1 O/U). Denver was arguably the most-impressive team during preseason Week 1, throttling the 49ers 30-9 in San Francisco. Jarrett Stidham, who’s battling Sam Ehlinger to be Bo Nix’s backup, was outstanding, going 14-of-15 for 136 yards, two TDs, and no picks. Ehlinger was decent, as well, going 6-of-10 for 55 yards and a major with no turnovers.

Arizona gave both QB1 Kyler Murray and QB2 Jacoby Brissett plenty of playing time last Saturday in a 20-17 home win against Kansas City. It’s likely that the Cardinals will opt for more of third-stringer Clayton Tune in Denver this week. Tune was by far the least effective of the three Zona QBs in Week 1, going just 5-for-9 for 47 yards, no touchdowns, and one interception.

Highest Week 2 Game Total: Chiefs vs Seahawks

The highest total on the board so far is 41.5 O/U in Kansas City vs Seattle. The preseason Week 1 games were much higher scoring than expected. In total, 13 of 16 games hit the over, and all 16 together averaged 44.2 points. In preseason Week 1, there wasn’t a single total that eclipsed 38.5 points.

The preseason Week 2 lines look much different; only six of 16 are under last week’s high of 38.5 and four others are over 40. Kansas City was one of three teams that hit the under last week, losing 20-17 in Arizona against a total of 38.5. Seattle played Las Vegas to a 23-23 tie, blowing past their total of 35.5 by over ten points.
