  • Green Bay coming off last minute home loss to Philadelphia
  • Cowboys look to re-ignite offense after scoring just 10 points in New Orleans
  • What’s the best early bet?

Green Bay heads to Jerry World in Dallas to take on the Cowboys in America’s Game of the Week on Sunday, as both teams will be looking to rebound from disappointing losses in Week 4.

The Packers lost on Thursday night to the Philadelphia Eagles on an Aaron Rodgers interception at the goal line in the final minute, while the Cowboys could only muster 10 points in New Orleans on Sunday night.

With that in mind, the spread has opened with Dallas as a 3.5-point home favorite, and you can track the line movement within our Green Bay Packers vs Dallas Cowboys odds & stats.

Green Bay Packers vs. Dallas Cowboys Spread

Team Spread
Green Bay Packers +3.5
Dallas Cowboys -3.5

All Odds Taken 09/30/19.

Will the Line Move?

I don’t suspect the line will change drastically, as these teams were both considered preseason Super Bowl contenders, and despite Week 4’s disappointment were undefeated coming into the week.

The Cowboys should be favored as they have looked very good to start the year and will be playing at home, where they have a strong track record of success with Dak Prescott behind center.

The offensive line has been strong and Ezekiel Elliott will look to rebound from his poor showing at the Superdome by testing a rebuilt Packers defense that has looked good but has yet to face a back of his caliber.

What’s the Best Bet?

The best bet right now is on the Dallas Cowboys.

Ahead of Sunday night’s game, Dallas’ offense was averaging more yards per play  than the Kansas City Chiefs, as Amari Cooper, Devin Smith and Randall Cobb have worked well in the passing game, and the return of Jason Witten to the tight end corps along with Blake Jarwin have given Prescott a multitude of options while making plays.

The key for the Packers is to not turn over the ball. They have done a good job so far this season as they are +4 on turnovers. Dallas’ offense is very good that they will need to keep them off the field as much as possible in order to win.

Right now, I believe the Dallas Cowboys are the real deal and as a -3.5 favorite, they are worth the bet before the line inflates even higher.

Pick: Dallas Cowboys (-3.5)
