When it comes to Super Bowl 55 touchdown props, Travis Kelce is the man. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is the -155 favorite to score a TD in this season’s Super Bowl.

Kelce is also the chalk when it comes to who will be the game’s first TD scorer with odds of +650. This season, he set an NFL record for tight ends by compiling 1,416 yards in receptions.

Right behind Kelce is teammate Tyreek Hill. He’s given odds of -150 to record a TD during the game, and odds of +650 in the first TD prop.

As far as the NFC champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers, wide receiver Mike Evans is the +125 chalk to find the end zone at some point during the game. Both Evans and running back Leonard Fournette are +1000 to be the player to find the end zone first during the big game.

The Super Bowl kicks off at 6:30 pm EST at Tampa Bay’s Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, Febuary 7th.

Hot Hands

Those who catch the ball are the best bets to find the end zone on Super Bowl Sunday.

For the Chiefs, Hill led the AFC with 15 TD receptions. He’s a double threat who also ran for a pair of scores.

Hill’s found the end zone in a dozen games this season.

He scored three TDs when KC beat Tampa Bay during the regular season. However, it’s been five games since he produced a TD.

Kelce scored twice in the AFC Championship Game against Buffalo. He’s recorded TDs in six of KC’s past seven games.

At those prices on Hill and Kelce, wait and see if there’s any movement that lengthens their odds. No rush to wager on a minus number.

On Tampa Bay’s side of the ledger, Mike Evans has scored the first TD in each of the Buccaneers’ last two games. He’s counted 13 TDs this season, scoring in 12 games. Evans caught a pair of TD passes against KC in the regular season.

The Bucs have scored the first TD in five straight games, all on pass receptions.

Fearsome Fournette

Running back Leonard Fournette has endured his ups and downs during his first season with the Bucs. However, he’s been riding high in the playoffs.

Fournette has scored in all three of Tampa Bay’s postseason games. He’s been good for TDs in six of the Buccanneers’ last seven games. At +125 for an anytime TD, don’t pass up that price.

Kansas City’s run game is more confusing when it comes to determining who will get the ball. Both Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Darrel Williams ran for TDs against Buffalo. That was the first TD for Edwards-Helaire since he had a pair in Week 11 against the Raiders.

Best to wait and see if Edwards-Helaire’s ankle injury has fully healed prior to putting any money on a KC running back to score a TD. And stay away from Le’Veon Bell. He’s scored once in the past eight games.

Best Bet: Leonard Fournette anytime TD (+125), 1 unit

Looking to Score Value

When a QB has played in nine Super Bowls, it would be foolish not to study that resume. Tom Brady has thrown for 18 TDs and his team ran for seven scores in those nine games.

Brady has never called his own number for a TD in any of those games. Of note, he’s thrown three TD passes to Rob Gronkowski, and oddly enough, two to linebacker Mike Vrabel.

A versatile team, this season the Chiefs scored twice on special teams and their defense also accounted for two TDs. This brings Mecole Hardman into the equation.

The all-purpose wideout has caught four TD passes and run a punt back for a score. The Chiefs also will utilize him as a runner on end-around plays.

Value Bet: Mecole Hardman anytime TD (+200),  1 unit
