Packers vs Bears SGP Leg #1 – Cole Kmet Can Sneak One for Us

We need a good receiving option for this game, and we should take one on the Bears’ side. They’ll be missing Luther Burden and Rome Odunze for this thing, which means the “other guys” will have to step up. It’s just the way things work in the NFL.

Lucky for us, Cole Kmet still plays for the Bears, and he’s being priced like he’s some bum.

Let’s be honest with ourselves, 15+ receiving yards is nothing. Less than nothing, even. The haters are going to say that Kmet has been phased out of this offense, but he’s gone for at least 26 receiving yards in each of his last three games. One of those games was against this same Green Bay Packers squad.

The Packers play a ton of zone. We’re talking almost 80% here, people. That’s big for our guy Cole because 19 of his 24 receptions this season have come against zone coverage. With the Bears missing multiple receivers in this one, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them lean on their tight ends a little. Feels right.

GB vs CHI Same-Game Parlay Leg #2 – These Teams Are About to Score Points

It wasn’t long ago that taking a Green Bay Packers/Chicago Bears over in December would have been a bad idea. Fast forward to today, and taking the under seems like a horrible plan. Hell, we’ve already seen them hang 49 points in a December matchup just a couple of weeks ago.

That’s what happens when teams have good head coaches and quarterbacks. Points are scored.

We don’t need a record to get over the total in this game. We’re talking 42 points here. That’s only six touchdowns (with extra points). Both offenses are capable of 30-burgers, and the Packers are now missing Micah Parsons on defense. All we need is one of these teams to get it going offensively, and the other should follow suit.

If we want to use the boost at FanDuel, we’ll need to add another leg, so my suggestion is to add 40.5. It will do nothing to change the odds, but it will make the parlay a three-legger, which is required for the boost. We gotta do what we gotta do out here. We were given this world; we didn’t make it.
