Packers vs Lions SGP Leg #1 – Jared Goff Gets Loose

The first thing we need to think about in a game like this is the quarterback position. Every NFL game starts there and sometimes ends there. Both of these squads have guys we can trust so we’re all set there. It’s always better to have more than not enough.

The way I see it, between the two, the guy we want is Jared Goff. He’s a class guy.

Goff’s 225+ passing yards feels like the move given the circumstances. He’s done it five games straight, and if we’re being honest, looks to be ready for the playoff push. This is an enormous game in terms of who wins the NFC North, so there is that, too. No funny business. It’s all hands on deck.

Now I know the haters are going to say that the Green Bay Packers have been shutting people down recently, but as usual, the haters aren’t thinking things through. These Packers have slowed down the likes of JJ McCarthy, Jameis Winston, Jalen Hurts, Bryce Young, and a washed Aaron Rodgers. Not exactly a Murderers’ Row. They may be able to stop Goff from going 300+, but 225+ should be well within his grasp. Feels easy.

GB vs DET Same-Game Parlay Leg #2 – Jahmyr Gibbs Catches Balls

We all know Jahmyr Gibbs is an elite running back. Anyone with at least one eyeball and a functioning brain knows that. He is one of the fastest humans we’ve ever seen with pads on, and he can juke people in a phone booth. It’s crazy.

But what the books seem to forget each week is that this guy can catch, too. He’s like LT out there.

Obviously, taking running backs to go over their receiving props isn’t for the faint of heart. It takes a certain game script, so we really have to thread the needle. If Detroit plays this thing with a lead, some would think we are toast. I don’t think we are, though.

Sure, in the Week 1 meeting between these two teams, the Lions played from behind, and Gibbs caught 10 balls. A game script like that would be perfect, but even if we don’t get it, I think we’re still good. Against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Detroit led the entire game, and Gibbs went for 82 yards through the air. He’s a huge part of the offense, whether it be on the ground or through the air, so we shouldn’t be scared to take him for 20+ receiving yards no matter what type of script breaks out. We’re better than that. Feels easy.
