Panthers vs Rams SGP Leg #1 – Blake Corum Still Owes Us Money

Backups get no respect. It’s been like that since the very first backup. Everybody is always all over the starter (no matter the position) while the backup gets legit no shine. It’s a tough world, but it’s the main reason we can bet on Blake Corum.

People forget, Blake isn’t some BS guy. He’s a damn champion!

Here’s the thing about Blake Corum: he owes us money. We took him to go over his yardage total against the Atlanta Falcons, and he got hurt. The haters are going to say “he’s banned,” but smart people don’t operate like that. We have to give him a chance to win our money back. It’s just how being smart works.

Lucky for us, Blake has the perfect matchup this week. On the season, only three teams in the entire NFL allowed more yards per rush attempt at home than Carolina. Who knows what’s up with that? Maybe it’s the weather, maybe it’s the grass, doesn’t matter. We’ve already watched Blake go to Carolina and run for 81 yards once this season. He’ll definitely get 25+ this time around. Feels easy.

CAR vs LAR Same-Game Parlay Leg #2 – Chuba Hubbard Can Be Trusted

For the second leg, we’ll want to go with someone from Carolina. That way, when they get the ball, we’ll have someone to watch. It’s the playoffs, so we can’t be taking plays off. We need to soak in every single play because pretty soon, there will be no more plays to watch. I hate to be a downer, but that’s just how the NFL season works. At some point, it ends.

We shouldn’t focus on the end of the season just yet, though. Instead, let’s focus on Chuba Hubbard.

Chuba started the season as the Panthers’ RB1. He got hurt and was overtaken by Rico Dowdle. It happens. If you watched the games Rico filled in for Chuba, you know that he deserved the starting role. Still, that doesn’t mean Chuba sucks. It just means that Rico was better. The thing is, Chuba still has been hanging around, especially in the receiving game.

That’s good news for us (and Chuba) because, on the season, the Rams gave up the seventh most receptions to the running back position. The angle here is that the Rams will play this thing from ahead, forcing the Panthers to throw the ball. When that happens, Chuba snags 2+ receptions, and we all get paid off. Feels easy.
