There are just a few weeks left of the regular season, as we have reached NFL Week 16. The postseason race is picking up, and there are plenty of great matchups this weekend to take advantage of.
Thursday Night Football has already concluded, and there are two games on Saturday as well before we get to Sunday. It should be a great weekend of betting on the NFL.
See below for my NFL Week 16 picks against the spread, plus my best bets.

In the most Panthers fashion ever, Carolina held the division lead and lost to the Saints to give it back to the Buccaneers. Now, they face Tampa Bay this week in a spot where they are much more familiar. The Panthers have lost 12 straight games as a favorite, and have won every game this season as an underdog.
I love betting divisional home underdogs, and that is exactly what we have here. At home in Carolina, the Panthers are 3-2 straight up and against the spread.
Their offense should see success against a Buccaneers defense that has given up the third-most yards per game since Week 10. The Buccaneers are faltering and have failed to cover the spread in their last six games. They are just 1-5 straight up during that span.
There is no way I can lay a field goal with this Tampa Bay team on the road in a divisional matchup. The Panthers’ miracle season continues on Sunday.
NFL Week 16 Pick: Panthers +3 (-110)
The Broncos have won eleven games in a row, and now they take on the Jaguars at home. This line has moved from Broncos -3 to Broncos -3.5, and while I would have loved to get the 3, the fact that the line moved past the key number indicates that it is the right side.
Denver keeps finding ways to win, and they have been much better at home. The Broncos are 7-0 when playing at Mile High this season, and they are 4-3 against the spread. Bo Nix and the offense might have figured some things out against the Packers last week, and now they get to stay at home.
They should see some success against a Jaguars defense that can be thrown on. I trust the Broncos defense to wreak havoc on Trevor Lawrence and Jacksonville, and win this game by at least four.
One of the hottest betting trends in the NFL right now is the Lions after a loss. Going back to 2022, Detroit is 15-0 straight up and 14-1 against the spread after losing the previous week.
I believe the Lions can win this game by more than a touchdown, and I love this matchup vs the Steelers.
Pittsburgh is coming into this one on a short week after playing on Monday Night Football, and they are also on the road. Their defense has struggled against the run and the pass, so the Lions and all their playmakers should be able to feast on Sunday.
Detroit needs to win to stay alive in the NFL playoff race, so Dan Campbell will have his team ready to run through a wall against an inconsistent Steelers team.
