NFL Week 6 is underway. We saw a lot of underdogs not only cover the spread, but win outright last week. NFL Week 6 started off the same way with the Giants (+7.5) upsetting the Eagles on Thursday Night Football.

I believe this trend will continue, as I am looking at two underdogs to cover the spread in my three NFL best bets for Week 6.

NFL ATS Pick #1: Jets +7.5 vs Broncos

The NFL starts in London yet again in Week 6. I won my London bet last week and am looking to cash with the underdog yet again.

It is tough to bet on the Jets, but this is a pretty good spot for New York to keep this game close. There have only been six favorites of at least six points in international games, and they are 3-3 straight up.

Denver is riding high after a huge comeback victory against the Eagles on the road. After TNF, we are seeing all that is wrong with Philadelphia. The Broncos offense under Bo Nix has not been explosive, so even though the Jets defense has not been great, I think they can limit them.

The Jets offense does not seem to get going until the fourth quarter, but that does leave the backdoor cover wide open if the Broncos do get off to an early lead.

New York is 0-5, but they have played plenty of close games. Three of their losses were within six points, and they lost by two twice. There can be some strangeness in the London games, and I am expecting that on Sunday morning. Take the Jets to cover the spread against the Broncos.

NFL ATS Pick #2: Browns +6 vs Steelers

There are few bets that I love making more than underdogs in AFC North matchups, especially when getting over a field goal.

Mike Tomlin is just 12-26-1 against the spread as a favorite of four points or more, making this bet even more desirable in a division game.

Cleveland has been competitive and has looked alright this season. The Steelers are 3-1, but I have not been that impressed with them. Their defense has struggled, and their offense has just done enough to keep them winning games.

The Browns have struggled in Pittsburgh and have not beaten the Steelers there in 21 straight regular-season games. Still, 6 is too many points in this game. Cleveland’s defense has been causing everyone fits, and I expect the Steelers to have a tough time moving the ball consistently.

The NFL odds list the total in this game at O/U 38.5. That is extremely low, so it makes sense to take the underdog of over a field goal in a game that should be low-scoring.

• Week 6 NFL Pick: Browns +6 (-110)

NFL ATS Pick #3: Colts -7 vs Cardinals

These two teams are heading into this one with very different situations. The Cardinals had their game won against Tennessee, and then the unthinkable happened. Emari Demercado dropped the ball before getting into the endzone, which resulted in a touchback, then the Titans scored on a play where Cam Ward threw an interception. That kind of loss can not be good for the psyche.

The Colts, on the other hand, beat the Raiders 40-6 in Week 5 and stay at home for this game on Sunday.

Arizona has lost three straight, and Kyler Murray is not 100%, making Indianapolis the play.

Indianapolis has been consistent and could easily be 5-0 if Adonai Mitchell did not drop the ball before getting into the endzone against the Rams.

Daniel Jones has been 3-0 against the spread as a favorite this season, and the Colts are playing their second straight home game.

Daniel Jones and Jonathan Taylor should be able to pick the Arizona defense apart and should have no issue cruising to another big win at home.
