Jets vs Giants Predictions

Rodgers is demanding some game action in the NFL Preseason. That’s the main reason he’ll be under center to start their Saturday, August 26 game against the Giants at MetLife Stadium. It’s also likely why the Jets are 4.5-point favorites.

Giants head coach Brian Daboll isn’t being swayed by the presence of the three-time NFL MVP leading the Jets offense. Daboll is indicating his likely plan is to play all of his backups in the game.

They’ve played this game in the NFL Preseason every year since 1969, save for the 2019 campaign, when COVID-19 wiped out the entire slate of exhibition games. The Jets cling to a slight 27-25-1 straight up edge over the Giants all-time and have won the past two games.

Dolphins vs Jaguars Predictions

Jaguars coach Doug Pederson’s intent is to give his starters extensive playing time in the preseason finale. However, that will be challenging along the offensive line, where six players are reporting injuries. Some may be ready to return by Saturday’s game, in which Jacksonville is the heavy home chalk.

That won’t be the case with defensive tackle Foley Fatukasi (foot) or rookie safety Antonio Johnson (hamstring). They’re definitely out.

In their win over Houston, the Dolphins lost QB Mike White (concussion) and RB De’Von Achane (shoulder). James Blackmon was signed to assure there’d be three QBs available for this game.
