It’s playoff time, and we kick things off on Saturday with the Rams vs Panthers matchup. Los Angeles is the biggest road favorite in NFL history at -10.5, and is implied for 4+ touchdowns.

I expect them to carve up the Carolina defense on the ground and through the air, and will be targeting an LA rushing and receiving TD scorer in my Rams vs Panthers anytime touchdown bets.

Below, you’ll find a table with the Rams vs Panthers touchdown scorer props available in the NFL odds, plus my favorite anytime TD and prop bets to target.

Los Angeles receiver Davante Adams has the shortest odds to score against Carolina, but I’m going to fade him and focus on Kyren Williams as my favorite anytime TD bet.

Rams vs Panthers Anytime Touchdown Bet #1: Kyren Williams

  • Kyren Williams Anytime TD (-132) at BetRivers

LA, a top-two Super Bowl odds contender, has a massive advantage in the trenches. The Rams rank second in run block win rate, while the Panthers are dead last in run stuff rate, and have yielded the fifth most rushing TD to opposing RB’s.

That opens the door for a big game for Williams, who ranked second in the NFL in rushing success rate and top-nine in rushing yards, yards after contact and rush TD.

Williams scored in six of his final 10 games, including versus Carolina, and out touched backup Blake Corum 63 to 28 in the red zone tis season.

Rams vs Panthers Anytime Touchdown Bet #2: Tyler Higbee

  • Tyler Higbee Anytime TD (+285) at BetRivers

If the Rams are going to emerge from the NFC side of the NFL playoff bracket, they’re going to need all of Matthew Stafford’s weapons healthy. Adams is set to return this week after a month long hiatus, more on him below, while number one tight end Tyler Higbee returned in Week 18 after a two-month lay off.

Higbee stepped right back into the number one tight end role, leading LA in receiving yards, while finishing behind only Puka Nacua in catches versus the Cardinals. The big tight end caught a touchdown pass, and is in prime position for a big game against Carolina.

The Panthers have struggled to defend tight ends all season, surrendering the eighth most receiving yards to the position, and the 13th most touchdowns.

Rams vs Panthers Props Bet: Davante Adams Receptions

  • Davante Adams Under 4.5 Receptions (-154) at FanDuel

There are multiple reasons to fade Adams in this matchup. We’ve already discussed the advantageous position both the LA running backs and tight ends are in, but we should also mention Carolina has bled production to wide receiver ones. That puts Nacua in a great spot, and he enters play with five straight double-digit target games.

Chances are Adams will be eased back into action, but he wasn’t seeing a voluminous role even before he was hurt. The 33-year-old hauled in four or fewer catches in four of his final five games before getting injured, and has been held below five catches eight times already this season.

He does his best work on deep passes and in the red zone, and the ladder area is one of the few spots that the Panthers defend well. Carolina has yielded only 5 TD catches to wideouts inside their own 10-yard line, the fewest in the league.
