The Baltimore Ravens and Washington Commanders square off Saturday afternoon at Northwest Stadium with the road squad 2-0 in the preseason and the home team 0-2. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 pm ET.
With it being the final tune-up before the season starts for real, don’t expect what would otherwise have been a scintillating matchup between quarterbacks Lamar Jackson and Jayden Daniels. The former hasn’t played in the first two preseason contests and appears to have survived an injury scare at practice, where his foot was stepped on. The latter was in for one drive last outing, resulting in a 14-yard touchdown run.
The table below lists the Ravens vs Commanders spread, moneyline, and game total available on Saturday afternoon.
Baltimore Ravens vs Washington Commanders Odds
The Ravens/Commanders spread sees the road unit as the 2.5-point favorite at bet365. On the moneyline, Baltimore is the -150 choice, meaning you’d have to bet $150 to win an additional $100.
Conversely, a $100 wager on Washington to pull off the upset would pay out $125. The total is 35.0 points, which both teams have easily cleared in their first two contests.

SPORTSBOOK
Saturday’s NFL public betting splits show the Ravens getting a ton of love. Baltimore has attracted a whopping 96% of ATS handle on 86% of wagers, and 83% of moneyline bets. The public is expecting a slew of points to be on the board, with 92% of wagers for the over 35.0 points total.

Who’s Playing in BAL vs WSH?
Baltimore QB Lamar Jackson had his foot stepped on in practice, and didn’t participate on Wednesday or Thursday as a precautionary measure. He also hasn’t played a preseason game in four years, so it’s pretty clear he won’t suit up.
Veteran backup Cooper Rush has played solidly in both contests, with the Ravens putting up 55 combined points. Cornerback Jaire Alexander hasn’t been practicing due to a knee issue, and linebacker Adisa Isaac dislocated his elbow in Week 2, and he’s expected to miss multiple weeks.
As for the Commanders, Jayden Daniels has played just one series in the preseason, which resulted in a 14-yard TD scamper, which perhaps had their fans holding their breath, worried he may be injured.
With backup pivot Marcus Mariota experiencing Achilles tendinitis, the team is hopeful he won’t miss any regular-season action. Guard Julian Good-Jones went on injured reserve after suffering an undisclosed ailment in training camp.
Baltimore Ravens vs Washington Commanders Picks & Prediction
- Ravens -2.5 (-115)

SPORTSBOOK
Not long ago, it was a virtual certainty the Ravens could be chalked up to preseason win after preseason win, having been victorious in 24 straight preseason outings. The shine has worn off on that, given that they had dropped four in a five-game span, but they’ve returned to their solid ways this preseason, winning 24-16 vs Indy and 31-13 against the Cowboys.
Even without Lamar Jackson, Cooper Rush was solid, though at times erratic, going 20-for-30 for 198 yards and a TD pass (along with two INTs) last outing.
Washington’s third and fourth string quarterbacks, Josh Johnson and Sam Hartman, haven’t lit the world on fire, and the defense has been gashed. In their two outings, the Commanders fell 48-18 to the Patriots and 31-17 to the Bengals. It’s hard to have much confidence in them, especially as they face a stout Ravens unit.
To recoup a little bit more value, instead of picking Baltimore -150 on the moneyline, selecting them on the -2.5 points gets their number to -115, which I’m more than comfortable taking for this contest.
