NFL insiders are reporting that all signs are pointing toward the double threat being in the lineup and in the huddle for Monday’s game at Minnesota. McCaffrey was injured and ultimately ruled out in last week’s loss at Cleveland.

McCaffrey has scored a touchdown in each of his last 15 games. He’s leading the NFL in rushing with 553 yards. McCaffrey has also caught 23 passes for 177 yards. He’s scored nine TDs.

Hunter vs Moore Key Matchup

Both teams will be missing top receivers for this game. Deebo Samuel (shoulder) is out for San Francisco. All-Pro Justin Jefferson (hamstring) is on IR and will miss his second game in a row for the Vikings.

Minnesota beat Chicago last week minus Jefferson, the NFL’s best receiver, but his absence was definitely felt. Vikings QB Kirk Cousins threw for just 181 yards. The Minnesota offense could only muster up 19 points.

However, the key matchup in this game might be the showdown between NFL sack leader Danielle Hunter of the Vikings and 49ers tackle Jaylon Moore. Moore figures to be stepping in for All-Pro Trent Williams. Williams suffered an ankle injury last week and is doubtful. Hunter has collected eight sacks thus far this season.
