Week 4 in the NFL kicks off with an NFC West showdown between the Seattle Seahawks (2-1, 1-0 away) and Arizona Cardinals (2-1, 1-0 away) on Thursday Night Football. There’s no shortage of ways to bet this matchup, but I’m zeroing in on the player props market. Names like Sam Darnold, Kyler Murray, Kenneth Walker, Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Marvin Harrison Jr are sure to be popular targets on TNF, with the latter two making my betting card.

I’ve compiled a list of my favorite Seahawks vs Cardinals player prop bets from tonight’s TNF odds, below. Keep reading for the odds and the reasoning behind each pick.

I’m starting my Seahawks vs Cardinals player prop bets with an alt receiving line for Smith-Njigba. JSN has the highest receiving yards prop on the board at 84.5, but I think that’s too low for a few reasons. I’ll also be taking the under on Harrison Jr’s receptions prop, as he’s taken a back seat to Trey McBride in the Arizona passing game.

Seahawks vs Cardinals Player Prop Bet #1: Jaxon Smith-Njigba Receiving Yards

I wish we could all find someone who looks at us the way Darnold fawns over JSN. Seattle’s new quarterback has peppered Smith-Njigba with a 39% target share thus far, and JSN has given him no reason to look anywhere else. Entering play, Smith-Njigba was turned 29 targets into 22 catches, 323 receiving yards and a score. He’s recorded six catches of 20+ yards, and has at least one 40+ yard reception in every game so far.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba Receiving Stats – 2025

StatTotal (Rank)
Receptions22 (5th)
Targets29 (7th)
Yards323 (2nd)

Tonight’s matchup profiles as a close contest with Seattle favored by 1.5 points, meaning Darnold is going to need to lean on JSN to pull out a victory. The Cardinals secondary is a weakness, with multiple defensive backs banged up or on IR already. Arizona has yielded the third most passing yards so far, despite playing a cupcake QB schedule that includes Mac Jones, Spencer Rattler and Bryce Young.

  • Jaxon Smith-Njigba 90+ Receiving Yards (+117 at DraftKings); 1 unit

Seahawks vs Cardinals Prop Bet #2: Marvin Harrison Jr Receptions

As for Harrison Jr., the outlook doesn’t look so positive. The highly touted top-10 pick ranks seventh among 2024 draft class receivers in receiving yards this season, and had two drops last week versus the Niners.

The week before he had a crucial drop on third down and lost a jump ball in the endzone against the Panthers. He’s well behind McBride in targets through three games and the matchup against Seattle is extremely difficult.

The Seahawks feature arguably a top-five defense which makes them an intriguing longshot in the Super Bowl 60 odds. Seattle ranks top-three in pressure rate and quarterback knockdowns, and should be in Murray’s face all game long. That means Harrison Jr.’s long developing routes will take a backseat to the short to intermediate passing game, reducing his likelihood of a big stat line.

  • Marvin Harrison Jr Under 3.5 Receptions (+128 at FanDuel); 1 unit

Moving over to the Seahawks vs Cardinals touchdown props, where Arizona RB Trey Benson has the shortest anytime TD odds at +105. He’s followed immediately by Walker at +110, but I think there’s merit to targeting Murray to score with his legs at +290.

Seahawks vs Cardinals Prop Bet #3: Kyler Murray Anytime TD

Few QB’s are as dangerous on the ground as Murray, and we already know the Seattle pass rush should force him to scramble more than usual.

His legs are a major threat inside the red zone, specifically on naked boot legs down near the goal line. Murray is averaging 7 rush attempts per contest so far, and while he’s yet to score, he does have 31 career rushing TD, including a pair against the Seahawks.
