There’s more than one way to bet Super Bowl 60, and one of the most interesting markets to target is the cross-sport specials. That’s where NFL props are pitted head-to-head with props from different sports, such as the NBA, UFC and NCAA on Super Bowl Sunday.
The limits on these wagers are much smaller than traditional markets, which means the lines are monitored less closely and are less efficient. You can pick off some pretty soft spots if you’re paying attention, and I’ve identified three wagers that are worth making right now.
Keep reading for a table of the Super Bowl 60 cross-sport specials, plus my favorite picks below.

All of the props listed are three-way markets which includes ties. My card starts with a UFC-NFL selection, banking on more touchdowns scored in Super Bowl 60 than total takedowns in Saturday’s Mario Bautista vs Vinicius Oliveira fight.

Super Bowl 60 Cross-Sport Specials Pick #1
- Total Touchdowns in Super Bowl 60 greater than Total Takedowns in Bautista vs Oliveira (-135 at DraftKings)
Seattle is a -220 favorite in the Super Bowl 60 odds, while the total for the game versus New England sits at 45.5. The Seahawks and Patriots project for roughly 5 touchdowns between them, but even if they fall short I don’t envision enough takedowns from Bautista and Oliveira to warrant taking that side.
Mario Bautista vs Vinicius Oliveira Grappling Stats
Oliveira will want to keep this fight upright so he can take advantage of his striking speed and power. Bautista should welcome that strategy, since Oliveira’s takedown defense (80%) is nearly impenetrable. Neither fighter has a takedown accuracy north of 50%, while both average less than 1.7 takedowns per 15 minutes in the Octagon.
Super Bowl 60 Cross-Sport Specials Prediction #2
- Texas Tech (NCCAM) Points greater than Kenneth Walker III Rushing Yards (+105 at DraftKings)
Next up, I’m taking Texas Tech to score more points than Kenneth Walker III Rushing Yards at plus-money. The Red Raiders average 83 points per game, and rank top-16 in both three-point makes and field goal percentage from behind the arc. That sets them up for success versus West Virginia, who are 217th at defending the three-point line.
Walker meanwhile, has been a boom or bust player all season long. He has more games with below 68 rushing yards (12) than above (7), and will face a New England defense that yielded the fifth fewest rushing yards to enemy backs during the regular season.
Super Bowl 60 Cross-Sport Specials Pick #3
- North Carolina Tar Heels 3 Point FG’s Made Greater than Drake Maye Rushing Attempts (-170 at DraftKings)
I’m willing to lay some juice with the last pick, because I think UNC should be an even bigger favorite to record more made threes than Drake Maye rushing attempts. Maye has a ceiling of 10 attempts, a number he’s never exceeded in two full seasons, and a floor of 2-3 carries.
The Tar Heels meanwhile, enter play averaging 9 made threes per game, while hoisting 26 three-point attempts per outing. Their strategy should be to rain triples versus Wake Forest, who just happens to be one of the worst teams at defending behind the arc. The Demon Deacons rank 346th in opponent three-point attempts and 306th in enemy three-point makes.
They yielded 16 triples in their latest loss to NC State, and I’m betting the Wolfpack’s in state rival can hang an even bigger number on them on Sunday, easily outpacing Maye’s rushing attempts.
