We’ve made it to Bet #3 of the $25 to $800 Ladder Challenge! For those who don’t know what the hell that is, it’s simple. On Saturday, we started with $25 and put it on a two-leg, even money Panthers/Rams SGP. It hit. We then took our original $25 plus the $25 we won from the SGP ($50 total) and put it on an SGP for Sunday’s games. That hit, so now we’re rolling everything over to tonight’s Houston Texans/Pittsburgh Steelers game. Once we hit five bets in a row (we’ve got two down now), we will have successfully turned our original $25 into $800. What a world.

Texans vs Steelers SGP Leg #1 – Dalton Schultz Will Get Loose for the People

We’re about to bet a -112 two-leg SGP, so we have to be sure it’s going to win. Nobody in their right mind wants to lat -112, but we’re right in the middle of a ladder challenge, so we have to pull out all the stops. The thing is, we only need two beasts to move us on to the next bet. I’ll lay -112 on two beasts all day, every day.

Especially, if one of those beasts is Dalton Schultz.

Here’s the thing with Dalton Schultz: I trust him. For starters, we only need 30+ receiving yards out of him. That’s not a lot. In fact, he’s done this in three of his last four games. The only time he didn’t get home was the time he played the Los Angeles Chargers. On the season, only three teams in the entire NFL allowed fewer receptions to the tight end position than the Chargers. It was a miracle the guy even caught three balls that day.

Fast-forward to tonight, and Dalton is going to get a crack at the Pittsburgh Steelers. During the regular season, only four teams in the entire league allowed more receiving yards to tight ends. We’re talking 1100+ receiving yards here, people. We just saw Isaiah Likely go for 32 on them last week, and he doesn’t even play. Dalton is definitely getting 30+ tonight. Feels easy.

HOU vs PIT Same-Game Parlay Leg #2 – Pat Freiermuth Won’t Let Us Down

Now that we’ve got leg one out of the way, it’s starting to feel real. We’re moving on to Bet #4, which is only one bet away from greatness. Be sure to take a second or two to soak it all in. I’m thinking we catch the books slipping with leg two. Hit them with something they’ll never see coming.

If we’re being honest with ourselves, they’ll never see a second tight end coming. Even if it’s a beast like Pat Freiermuth.

This thing makes a ton of sense because DK Metcalf is coming back. The haters are going to say DK hurts Pat, but we ball-knowers know that’s not true. DK being back really messes with the receiver room. We have no idea what’s going on with guys like Adam Thielen, Calvin Austin, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Pat’s clean in all of this since he’s a tight end.

Speaking of tight ends, the Texans allowed 87 catches to the position this season, which isn’t a ton, but it’s not elite. Their pass rush is elite, so that means if Aaron Rodgers wants to have any success tonight, he’ll have to get his balls out quickly. Our guy Pat has a 4-yard ADOT against zone defenses (Houston plays zone 75% of the time), so he’ll be an option all night. We only need three catches. Feels easy.
