  • The Dallas Stars are -140 home favorites over the Winnipeg Jets in Saturday’s Game 6
  • Mikko Rantanen leads the playoffs with 9 goals and has scored in 3 of the last 4 games
  • Connor Hellebuyck has stayed under 22.5 saves in 11 of 12 playoff games, including all 5 vs Dallas

The Western Conference semifinals shift back to Dallas for Game 6 on Saturday night, with the Stars looking to close out the series on home ice. While the game line is certainly drawing plenty of interest, I’ve identified some excellent value in the Jets vs Stars player props market.

Mikko Rantanen’s anytime goalscorer odds and Connor Hellebuyck’s saves line both caught my eye as potentially profitable plays. I’ll also share my favorite Same Game Parlay that aligns nicely with how I envision this elimination game unfolding.

Let’s dive into the Jets vs Stars player props and aim to build on our impressive NHL playoffs prop betting record.

Prop Bet #1: Mikko Rantanen Anytime Goalscorer (+155)

Mikko Rantanen has been a scoring machine in these playoffs, leading all players with 9 goals. He’s found the net in 3 of the last 4 games against Winnipeg, including a Game 1 hat trick.

The Finnish forward isn’t just getting lucky either. Rantanen ranks 2nd in the playoffs with 2.97 individual expected goals and has potted 6 high-danger goals. When you consider he’s averaging over 22 minutes of ice time, including 4+ minutes on the PP1 unit, the +155 odds look very appealing.

Rantanen boasts an impressive 15.1% regular-season shooting percentage, scoring 32 goals on 212 shots. He also tallied 11 power-play goals during the regular season. In Game 7 against Colorado, Rantanen became the first player in NHL playoff history to record a hat trick in the third period.

In an elimination game at home, expect the Stars to lean heavily on their top players. Rantanen should get every opportunity to make his mark and continue his stellar postseason.

  • Pick: Mikko Rantanen Anytime Goalscorer (+155)

Prop Bet #2: Connor Hellebuyck Under 22.5 Saves (-110)

Connor Hellebuyck has been a brick wall at home this series, posting shutouts in Games 2 and 5. However, it’s been a different story entirely on the road.

The Jets netminder is 0-5 with a ghastly 5.84 GAA and .793 SV% away from home in the playoffs. He’s allowed at least 4 goals in 8 straight road postseason games dating back to 2023.

More importantly for this prop, Hellebuyck has stayed under 22.5 saves in 11 of 12 playoff outings, including all 5 games against Dallas. In his two road starts in this series, he faced just 24 and 26 shots.

The Stars haven’t been peppering Hellebuyck with rubber, instead focusing on quality over quantity. Expect that trend to continue in Game 6, especially if they get an early lead.

Games Under 22.5 Saves in Playoffs11 of 12

At home with a chance to clinch the series, look for Dallas to control play and limit Winnipeg’s offensive zone time. That should keep Hellebuyck’s workload light and the Under 22.5 saves in play.

  • Pick: Connor Hellebuyck Under 22.5 Saves (-110)

Jets vs Stars Same Game Parlay

Here’s how I’m combining our top prop picks with the Stars moneyline for a Same Game Parlay at Bet365:

Stars Moneyline-140
Mikko Rantanen Anytime Goalscorer+155
Connor Hellebuyck Under 22.5 Saves-110

Same Game Parlay Analysis

This parlay offers solid value at +575 odds and correlates nicely with our expectations for Game 6. If the Stars control play as they typically do at home, Rantanen should get plenty of offensive opportunities while Hellebuyck faces a limited workload.

Dallas is 5-1 at home this postseason, outscoring opponents 18-7 in those contests. They’ve bounced back well after losses and haven’t dropped consecutive games since early April. With a chance to eliminate the Jets and avoid a nervy Game 7 in Winnipeg, expect the Stars to come out firing.

If Dallas gets an early lead, they’ll likely focus on defensive structure and protecting the advantage. That game script aligns perfectly with Hellebuyck staying under 22.5 saves. Rantanen, meanwhile, has delivered in clutch moments all playoffs and should be heavily involved if the Stars build a lead.

  • Same Game Parlay: Stars ML + Rantanen Anytime Goal + Hellebuyck U22.5 Saves (+575)
