  • The Ducks are slight home favorites over the Kraken in Tuesday’s Pacific Division clash
  • Seattle is 5-0 in their last five meetings in Anaheim and riding a four-game win streak
  • See my Kraken vs Ducks prediction, prop bets and projected lineups below

Two teams deadlocked at 61 points meet Tuesday night with Pacific Division positioning on the line. The Seattle Kraken (26-19-9) visit the Anaheim Ducks (29-23-3) at Honda Center, with puck drop set for 10:00 pm ET on TNT.

Seattle has won four straight while Jared McCann has caught fire. The franchise’s all-time leading scorer missed 24 of the team’s first 35 games to injury but has tallied 11 goals in his last 18 since returning. He set franchise records with 10 goals and 20 points in January and earned NHL First Star of the Week honors.

Here’s my Kraken vs Ducks prediction, prop bets and projected lineups along with the latest NHL odds.

I’m riding with the underdog for my Kraken vs Ducks prediction. Seattle has won four straight, including a 3-2 victory Saturday in Vegas that pulled them within three points of the Pacific-leading Golden Knights. They’ve outscored opponents 17-7 during the streak, and their top line is clicking at the right time.

McCann is back alongside Matty Beniers and captain Jordan Eberle, and the trio has combined for 19 points over their last five games. Beniers also set a franchise record with 10 goals in January, while Eberle leads the team with 19 on the season.

When the Kraken grab multi-goal leads, they don’t let go. Seattle is 20-0-0 this season when leading by two or more. Only Colorado (30-0-0), Minnesota (25-0-0) and Boston (24-0-0) have more wins in that situation without a loss.

The Ducks snapped a two-game skid with a 4-3 win over Vegas on Sunday. Chris Kreider scored twice and Troy Terry returned from an 11-game absence with two assists. But Anaheim still allows 3.51 goals per game, the second-worst mark in the league, and their .878 team save percentage ranks 27th.

Seattle’s defensive structure is built to frustrate high-volume shooting teams like Anaheim. The Kraken rank ninth in goals against and fifth in save percentage. They’ve also limited shots early in games during this streak, holding Vegas to 18 shots through two periods and Washington to just 11 through 40 minutes.

The head-to-head trends heavily favor Seattle. The Kraken are 5-0 in their last five meetings in Anaheim and 10-3 in the last 13 overall. Road teams have won six of the last seven matchups between these clubs. Give me Seattle at plus money as my Kraken vs Ducks prediction.

Kraken vs Ducks Prop Bets

  • Jared McCann Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (+100 at bet365)

McCann has cleared this line in all four games he’s played on two days rest this season. Dating back to last year, he’s hit the over in seven straight games following multi-day breaks.

The Ducks are a bottom-tier shot suppression team, allowing 28.8 shots per game. McCann clears 2.5 shots in 67% of games against teams like that. At even money, this is my top play.

  • Cutter Gauthier Over 3.5 Shots on Goal (+125 at bet365)

Gauthier leads the Ducks with 24 goals and 48 points, but it’s his shot volume that stands out. He leads the entire NHL in shot attempts per 60 minutes at 25.05. He’s cleared 3.5 shots on goal in seven of his last 10 games.

Even skating on the third line at even strength, Gauthier remains the primary trigger man on Anaheim’s top power-play unit. Seattle’s penalty kill ranks dead last at 71.5%, so expect Gauthier to get extended offensive zone time. Plus money here is a gift.

  • Eeli Tolvanen Over 1.5 Shots on Goal (-141 at bet365)

Tolvanen opened the scoring Saturday in Vegas and has been firing freely. He’s exceeded 1.5 shots in five straight games and four straight as an underdog, averaging 2.5 shots per game in that span.

Anaheim’s defensive structure allows volume shooters to get their looks. The juice is fair for a prop with this kind of floor.

Kraken vs Ducks Projected Lineups

Seattle Kraken Projected Lines

Forwards:

Jared McCann – Matty Beniers – Jordan Eberle
Jaden Schwartz – Chandler Stephenson – Eeli Tolvanen
Ryan Winterton – Shane Wright – Kaapo Kakko
Tye Kartye – Frederick Gaudreau – Jacob Melanson

Defense:

Vince Dunn – Adam Larsson
Jamie Oleksiak – Brandon Montour
Ryan Lindgren – Ryker Evans

Goalie: Philipp Grubauer

Grubauer gets the nod with an 11-5-3 record, 2.34 GAA and .919 save percentage this season. The Kraken are without rookie Berkly Catton (upper body), who will miss the final games before the Olympic break.

Anaheim Ducks Projected Lines

Forwards:

Alex Killorn – Mikael Granlund – Beckett Sennecke
Chris Kreider – Ryan Poehling – Troy Terry
Jeffrey Viel – Mason McTavish – Cutter Gauthier
Ross Johnston – Tim Washe – Jansen Harkins

Defense:

Jackson LaCombe – Jacob Trouba
Olen Zellweger – Radko Gudas
Pavel Mintyukov – Ian Moore

Goalie: Lukas Dostal

Dostal has been excellent lately, posting a .919 save percentage over his last 10 starts after a slower beginning to the season. The Ducks remain without top center Leo Carlsson (thigh), who was placed on IR on Sunday.

Kraken vs Ducks Head-to-Head

This is the final meeting of the regular season between these Pacific rivals. Seattle has won two of three, both by 3-1 margins on Oct. 9 and Dec. 22. Anaheim took the most recent matchup 4-2 on Jan. 23 in Seattle.

DateResultTotal
Jan. 23, 2026ANA 4, SEA 2Under 6.5
Dec. 22, 2025SEA 3, ANA 1Under 6
Oct. 9, 2025SEA 3, ANA 1Under 6

The under is 4-0 in the last four meetings in Anaheim, but both teams are playing better hockey now than earlier in the season. The Kraken have outscored opponents 17-7 during their four-game winning streak, and the Ducks just hung four on Vegas.
