- The Toronto Maple Leafs-Vancouver Canucks game is postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak among the CanucksÂ
With 11 games on tap Saturday, there are plenty of questions to be sorted out in terms of the NHL odds. For instance, which Washington Capitals team will be showing up in Philadelphia to face the Flyers?
Will it be the potent Caps who blasted the Boston Bruins 8-1 and the Flyers 6-1 just four days ago? Or will it be the Washington team that took a 5-2 pratfall on Thursday at home against the woeful Buffalo Sabres?
Oddsmakers are counting on the former. The Caps are -139 favorites at Philly, where they’ve won six of their last seven visits.
First place in the Central Division could be up for grabs as the Tampa Bay Lightning are -155 home favorites playing host to the Florida Panthers. Five of the last six Florida-Tampa Bay games have gone over.

All Caps In Philly
The East Division-leading Capitals are a similar 14-6-2 at home and on the road this season. They’ve handed the Flyers four straight losses, three of which have been dealt out at the Wells Fargo Center.
With another win on Saturday, Washington would go unbeaten in Philadelphia for the second time in three seasons. The Caps were 2-0 at Philly during the 2018-19 season.

The Flyers come into this game off a 2-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins. Philly hasn’t won back-to-back games since March 27-29. Prior to that, their previous successive wins were Feb. 27-28.
The setback to the Sabres ended a three-game winning streak for the Capitals. They are 4-1 straight up in their last five road games. The last five Washington games have all gone over.
Right winger Anthony Mantha, the newest Capitals player, has scored in both games since being acquired from the Detroit Red Wings.
Pick: Washington Capitals (-139).
Florida First
The Lightning were a first-place team in two of the past three seasons. Florida was a first-place team in 2015-16.
Both are well positioned to do so again, although the Carolina Hurricanes could storm past both teams. All three clubs are within one point of each other in the top three spots in the Central Division.

The Lightning and Panthers also like lighting the lamp. Overall, four of Tampa Bay’s last six games went over. Head to head, Thursday’s 3-2 Lightning victory over Florida ended a run of five games between the two teams which saw the total go over.
In fact, 14 of the past 16 Lightning-Panthers games have gone over. There hasn’t been back-to-back Tampa Bay-Florida games that went under since 2017.
Pick: Over 5.5 (-121).
