Things didn’t go according to plan for the New York Rangers as they were launching their West Coast trip on Thursday. Then again, at least they got to play. The Anaheim Ducks should be so lucky.

The Ducks’ home game against the Detroit Red Wings ended in postponement after four Anaheim players found themselves entering COVID-19 protocol. Meanwhile, the Rangers were absorbing a 5-1 smackdown at Las Vegas.

Still, it’s the Rangers that oddsmakers like as slight -115 road favorites for Saturday’s game between the two clubs. Bettors can access a -105 betting line on the Ducks.  Anaheim is 4-1-3 straight up over the club’s past eight home games.
