The Rangers bring the NHL’s best road record to Vegas on Tuesday night. New York sits at 9-1-1 away from Madison Square Garden, while the Golden Knights have lost four straight at T-Mobile Arena. These key stats are causing notable line movement in the Tuesday NHL odds.
Puck drops at 10:00 PM ET from Las Vegas, with MSG carrying the Rangers broadcast and SCRIPPS showing it locally in Vegas. ESPN+ offers streaming for out-of-market viewers.
I’ve made my Rangers vs Golden Knights prediction for Tuesday, which factors in the starting goalies and professional line movement.
Rangers vs Golden Knights Prediction
My Rangers vs Golden Knights prediction backs New York getting plus money on the road. The Rangers are 6-0 in their last six road games and 4-0 against the Western Conference. Vegas can’t protect home ice lately, going 0-4 in their last four at T-Mobile.
Sharp bettors have been hammering the Rangers all day. Vegas opened at -160 and got bet down to -135 while New York moved from +135 to +115. When the line moves 25 cents against the home favorite, you know the pros found value on the road team.
Yes, Vegas controls the puck more than New York does. They’ve got 52.91% Corsi and 55.50% of the shots over their last 10 games. But the Rangers are 7-3 in that span while Vegas sits at 3-3-4. The difference comes down to one thing: goaltending. New York is getting a .912 save percentage from their goalies compared to Vegas at .886.
Team Comparison
New York ranks second in the NHL, allowing just 2.45 goals per game. Their .912 save percentage sits third overall. Vegas allows 2.89 goals per game with a .886 save percentage that ranks 22nd. When you’re getting outplayed in net by that margin, you’re going to lose hockey games.
Artemi Panarin leads the Rangers with 18 points and has been hot lately with eight points in his last five games. Mika Zibanejad has seven goals on the season, including three in his past five. Vegas counters with Jack Eichel’s 24 points, but they’re missing key guys. Mark Stone (wrist) and William Karlsson (lower body) remain out on Tuesday.
The head-to-head history favors defense and road teams. The under has hit in five of the last seven meetings in Vegas. New York won both matchups last season, taking a 2-1 decision in Vegas and winning 4-2 at home. Both games stayed under the total.

Rangers vs Knights Starting Goalies
Igor Shesterkin is expected to start for the Rangers while Akira Schmid gets the call for Vegas. The goalie matchup heavily favors New York, especially with the heater Shesterkin has been on.
Goalie Matchup
Shesterkin has found his game after a slow start to the season. He’s won three straight games, including stopping 26 saves on 27 shots against Columbus on Saturday. That gives the Russian netminder a super .927 save percentage in that span.
Schmid’s record looks good at 7-1-2, but he’s been shaky recently. He gave up four goals in overtime losses to both the Islanders and Ducks. His .884 save percentage in recent starts won’t get it done against a Rangers team that doesn’t need many chances to score.
Rangers vs Golden Knights Odds
Vegas opened at -160, and professional bettors pounded the Rangers hard enough to move the line to -135. The total jumped from 5.5 to 6.0 at most sportsbooks, but it sits at even juice both ways. Rangers backers are getting solid value at +115.
Odds as of Nov. 18th at NHL betting apps.
Even with the line movement, the Rangers moneyline at +115 is the play. When sharp money moves a line 25 cents against the home favorite, they usually know something. Vegas can’t win at home, and New York owns the road.
How to Watch Rangers vs Knights
Tuesday’s game starts at 10:00 PM ET from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. MSG carries the Rangers broadcast while SCRIPPS has the Golden Knights feed for Vegas area viewers.
Fans outside both markets can stream the game on ESPN+ or watch through NHL Center Ice. Canadian viewers get the game on Sportsnet and TVA Sports. The late Tuesday start works for West Coast fans, but East Coast viewers might struggle with the 10 PM puck drop.
These teams meet again December 7 at Madison Square Garden. Tuesday’s game should show us whether the Rangers can keep their road dominance going or if Vegas can finally hold serve at home.
