  • Stars vs Oilers player props are available for Game 4 of the Western Conference Final
  • Ryan Nugent-Hopkins has been on fire in the series, leading all point getters
  • Read below for the best Stars vs Oilers player prop bets for Tuesday night

The Western Conference Final continues tonight, with the Oilers up two games to one in the series. After a huge third-period comeback win in Game 1, Dallas has scored just one goal in the last two duels, losing 3-0 and 6-1. In last year’s Western Conference final, Edmonton got the better of their Dallas adversaries in six games, and the Stars will scratch and claw to even the series so they don’t dig too deep a hole.

I have my eye on two Oilers to hone in on in the prop market for Game 4, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Evan Bouchard. I’m also looking at the shot total for Stars forward Wyatt Johnston. Let’s dive into my best Stars vs Oilers player prop picks.

Stars vs Oilers Player Props – Game 4

PlayerAnytime Goal1+ PointShots on Goal
Leon Draisaitl (EDM)+105-380O 3.5 (+135)
Connor McDavid (EDM)+130-525O 3.5 (+100)
Mikko Rantanen (DAL)+160-205O 2.5 (-115)
Wyatt Johnston (DAL)+230+105O 1.5 (-175)
Zach Hyman (EDM)+240-115O 2.5 (-105)
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (EDM)+250-150O 2.5 (+140)
Roope Hintz (DAL)+260OFFOFF
Jason Robertson (DAL)+300+110O 1.5 (-162)
Evander Kane (EDM)+320+120O 2.5 (-105)
Matt Duchene (DAL)+360+105O 1.5 (+105)
Tyler Seguin (DAL)+360+120O 1.5 (-148)
Corey Perry (EDM)+360+155OFF
Evan Bouchard (EDM)+400-175O 2.5 (+105)
Mason Marchment (DAL)+400+160O 1.5 (-115)

The Western Conference Final player props show Leon Draisaitl with the best odds to score in Game 4 at +105, which is an implied probability of 48.78%. It’s Draisaitl’s Oilers teammate Connor McDavid, however, who has the best odds to get at least one point at -525 odds.

Stars vs Oilers Prop Bet #1: Ryan Nugent-Hopkins Anytime Goal Scorer

  • Ryan Nugent-Hopkins Anytime Goal Scorer (+250)

A player sporting intriguing odds to light the lamp is Oilers forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. In the first three games of the series against Dallas, he’s scored in two contests, and then added three assists in Game 3. He has a series-leading seven points in the first three duels.

In the postseason, RNH has five markers, one behind Leon Draisaitl and Evan Bouchard for the team lead. Given that he has longer odds to put the biscuit in the basket than the top-five choices on the board, getting him at +250 is solid value, with how dominant he’s been thus far versus Dallas.

Stars vs Oilers Prop Pick #2: Evan Bouchard 1+ Points

  • Evan Bouchard 1+ points (-105)

Not only does Oilers blueliner Evan Bouchard lead all defensemen in points this postseason (17), but he’s in the top-four in point getters in the playoffs. He’s picked up at least one point in six of his last eight affairs, and his -105 odds to get on the scoresheet is easy enough to stomach.

Bouchard’s career 1.12 points per game in the postseason is second all-time among d-men, behind only legend Bobby Orr (1.24). That’s an astonishing number for a player that at times draws the ire of the Oilers faithful.

In a perfect world, Bouchard zips one over to Ryan Nugent-Hopkins for a goal to kill two birds with one stone.

Stars vs Oilers Player Prop #3: Wyatt Johnston Over 1.5 Shots

  • Wyatt Johnston Over 1.5 Shots (-175)

Dallas might not have the services of first-line center Roope Hintz, who missed Game 3 following a slash by Darnell Nurse in Game 2. He’s considered a game-time decision, but he wasn’t at optional skate this morning. If he’s not able to go again, Wyatt Johnston, who had the second-most shots by the Stars this regular season, will be leaned upon for bigger minutes.

In five of his last eight tilts, Johnston has thrown at least two pucks on net, and he’s set that bar in eleven of 16 postseason games. I feel much more comfortable touting Johnston to get shots on net compared to putting up points, because he’s lacked in that department of late.

Should Hintz miss this game, expecting Johnston to have two or more shots is more than reasonable.
