There’s a lot of hoopla around Area 51 going on right now as a Facebook event with more than 1.3 million people is expected to storm the restricted facility on September 20, 2019. A prop on whether or not any aliens or alien artifacts will be found is out. Is there any value betting ‘yes’ with this prop.

Area 51 Event Plans to Overwhelm Military Facility Security

Area 51 has long been a mysterious place where the public has wondered what is inside. Is it just high-tech military technology or is it in fact aliens and extra-terrestrial beings? A Facebook group relating to the military facility created an event with the idea of the masses going there and the security not being able to stop everyone.

What may have started as a ruse or just a general idea now has more than 1.3 million people who have RSVPed. If over a million – or even a quarter of that amount – go through with this, the military will have a tough time responding. However, the U.S. Air Force has already stated that they’ll be on high alert.

Will Alien Artifacts Be Discovered?

The truth is if they did, in fact, overwhelm the base and they did, in fact, get access to the inside, they would likely find some very secretive things that the masses have yet to see. It wouldn’t be surprising if there was alien – or at least alien artifacts – discovered.

However, let’s be realistic: the government now has two months to prepare for this and the element of surprise is gone. They’ll be tracking flights, travel plans and movement in the area. If there’s anything that’s suspicious, they’ll reinforce the facility.

Furthermore, if they are genuinely concerned that they feel the threat is real and they can’t handle the onslaught of people, they’ll probably move all sensitive things out of the area. At any rate, I wouldn’t be on ‘Yes’ here.

If this event hadn’t been discovered and it hadn’t been a viral story in the media, maybe it would have worked. And maybe people would have gone through with it as they would have felt that they could catch the security off-guard.

At this point, it looks like it’s nothing more than a bit of a joke. If that’s the case, it’s hard to see anyone going through with this. 9.5 is a really low number – especially if 1.3 million people are genuinely going there (they’re not) but I’d be surprised if even ten make it anywhere near the front door to get arrested. Bet under.
