NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 predictions focus a lot on the Kyle Larson double. However, what about William Byron? There are plenty of other wagers to consider too.

The NASCAR Cup Series rolls into North Carolina for the thirteenth points event this Sunday, May 25th, at the Coca-Cola 600. The green flag drops just after 6:00 pm ET, with live coverage on Amazon Prime Video. In-car cams and multi-views are again on MAX.

Charlotte Motor Speedway is a 1.5-mile quad-oval track where execution is vital given the length of the race. Everything happens a little slower and the race time can get up into the five-hour range. The stage setup is 100-100-100-100. It is the type of race that changes often right up until the final stage. A driver could be lagging awfully early before making a late charge. Keep in mind, watch the weather. The past two races have been altered heavily. Last year’s was shortened allowing Christopher Bell to walk away with the win.

The table below lists the Coca-Cola 600 odds (winner, top three, and top five) for the favorites and some racers who may surprise. Under the table, I have set out my AdventHealth 400 predictions and prime picks.

At +340 odds, the implied probability for favorite Kyle Larson to win race is 22.73%. William Byron rumbles in at +500 (16.67%), with Ryan Blaney (+750) and Tyler Reddick (+750) right there. Larson still maintains top status (+300) in the NASCAR Cup Series odds.

NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 Predictions

The weather could be a bit of a mixed bag in Charlotte on Sunday. Qualifying saw Kyle Larson the fastest and then Chris Briscoe pulled off the best lap and took the pole. Yes, William Byron is right there in third. He could be one to watch if Kyle Larson should falter late in the race.

This Spring race has a number of twists even though there have been only two overtimes since 2011. Last year was a rain-shortened race to 249 laps with a controversial result. The year before, Charlotte took two days to decide. This happened in 2017 and 2020 as well.

The track features those 24-degree banked turns. The frontstretch and backstretch are unique in the sense in the dynamic of the racing. Remember, the first portion sees Charlotte in sun, then there is dusk, and then the racing goes under the lights as the 11:00 p.m. ET news beckons on the East Coast.

Bettors want to go to bed at some point. Larson won in 2021 and has had several other chances to win. It is amusing that there are no more multiple winners of the Spring race. Martin Truex Jr. retired from full-time racing in 2024. There is an idea to fade the favorite here. Could William Byron finally get that victory here? Byron has led 13.3% of the laps since 2022. Do not let the average finish of 12.3 fool you, he has two Top 5 results.

Again, this race can feature that. Ford twist. It is how Ryan Blaney won two years ago. However, Byron could get help from Larson and even Chase Elliott here.

More Coca-Cola 600 Expert Picks

With the race having that nagging rain chance, it throws some props into chaos. Sure, Christopher Bell could win but we are not taking the bait. Bell is fast but not fast enough. If anyone is wondering, DraftKings has Kyle Larson only at +8000 to win the Indy 500 and Coca-Cola 600. Admittedly, I like William Byron over Larson in the driving props at +110. Plus money was not expected there. The barometer matchup might be Tyler Reddick and Ryan Blaney. If the track cools right, Blaney can be right near the front when it counts again.

With best driver among manufacturers, William Byron is +210 for Chevy but if one wants to go down the line, Chase Briscoe at +750 for Best Toyota is a wager to consider. Good luck!
