Saturday’s late game pits Real Madrid (6-3-1) against Real Betis (3-3-5) in a battle of two squads at opposite ends of the table.
The Santiago Bernabeu will be rocking as Madrid are fresh off a 5-0 thumping of regional rival — nay, opponent — Leganes on Wednesday. Zidane’s Real has looked like the Real of old (2017-18) in its last few outings, with nine goals over their last three games.
10 – Karim Benzema has been directly involved in 10 goals in LaLiga this season (seven goals and three assists), more than any other player. Fantastic. pic.twitter.com/dF3MLZ9MYd

Real Betis, on the flip side, has had a tough beginning to the campaign and it was rumored manager Rubi’s job was on the line ahead of their 2-1 win over Vigo midweek.
Madrid is rolling, while Betis is steadying itself after an ugly four-game skid against unspectacular opposition.
The hosts boast the league’s second-best offense (21 GF), while Betis is the league’s worst defense (21 GA) — albeit relatively improved in its last two league games.
With that said, back the hosts to fill the net.
Pick: Real Madrid -1.5 (-103)
Osasuna vs. Alaves Odds
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Osasuna | pk, -0.5 (-128) | +113 | O 2 (+101) |
Alaves | pk, +0.5 (+108) | +290 | U 2 (-121) |
Draw | N/A | +190 | N/A |
Two clubs separated by less than 60 miles collide on Sunday, as Osasuna (3-6-2) and Alaves (3-3-5) collide in Pamplona.
Neither has been able to win a lot this season, but Jagoba Arrasate’s Osasuna has managed a few more draws and thus sits three points and five places above Sunday’s visitors.
The matches have come thick and fast since the October international break, with both clubs running up a 1-1-1 record — the definition of .500 — since returning to action.
Unfortunately, there is little historical data to take into account: 2016-17 was the only season this decade the two clubs competed in the same tier, and both matches were won 1-0 by the away team.
Parlay Plays
Atletico +0.5 (-123) at Sevilla: Diego Simeone’s Atleti (5-5-1) travels south to face Sevilla (6-2-3) at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjaun. Atleti has won or drawn 10 of its opening 11 matches, while Sevilla’s taken care of business for the most part under Lopetegui. Similar records, similar form. Take the visitors in a win or draw situation.
Granada (+200) vs. Real Sociedad: After a white-hot start to the year, Granada (6-2-3) has dropped two of its last four. Getafe (4-4-3) pays them a visit on Sunday in good form, with wins in three of their last four. It’s time for Granada to either dig in with a win, or else Diego Martinez’s side could begin sliding back towards mid-table. Back them to return to the win column.
