Germany’s Bundesliga has taken on a familiar look in recent weeks with Bayern Munich leading for the last five rounds of fixtures following a run of 10 games in which they have been unbeaten and have dropped only two points.

The battle for Champions League qualification behind Bayern remains tight with only three points separating second-placed Red Bull Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund in third and fourth-placed Borussia Monchengladbach.

Bayer Leverkusen are fifth and out-of-form Schalke 04 are sixth in the fight for Europa League places next season.

Bundesliga Pick 1: Borussia Dortmund vs Borussia Moenchengladbach

The most enticing game on Bundesliga Matchday 25 is the meeting of the high-flying pair of Borussia Monchengladbach and Borussia Dortmund on Saturday. March 7, at Borussia Park Stadion, 12.30 pm EST.

Third-placed Dortmund are in impressive form on a run of six wins and just one defeat in the last seven games.

They look good value for a win at +108 odds.

In fourth spot, Monchengladbach are priced at +198 with the draw at +275; also an intriguing offer for what should be a fiercely-contested encounter.

Monchengladbach’s form has been more patchy recently with only three wins in the last seven matches. During that spell, they have lost once and drawn three times.

During their recent sequence of seven games without defeat since the turn of the year, Dortmund have scored no fewer than 25 goals,

The spread offer for Dortmund to win by more than one goal also offers value at +108.

During their recent sequence of seven games without defeat since the turn of the year, Dortmund have scored no fewer than 25 goals,

That goal tally has been propelled by the club’s recent signing Erling Braut Haaland.

The Norwegian striker arrived during the winter break from Red Bull Salzburg for $30 million. He has scored nine goals in his seven league appearances since then.

With 66 goals, Dortmund have the second-highest tally in the Bundesliga behind Bayern Munich.

By contrast, Monchengladbach have scored only 46 times.

However, they have the third-best home record in the competition with eight wins, two draws and only one defeat – which could point towards a draw this weekend.

Dortmund have the sixth-best away record with five wins, three draws and four defeats.

Pick: Borussia Dortmund +108

Bundesliga Pick 2: Wolfsburg vs Red Bull Leipzig

Red Bull Leipzig have retained second place despite winning only twice in the last six games.

They face a tough trip to face a Wolfsburg side who are unbeaten in five matches when the two meet on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Volkswagen Arena, Wolfsburg, 9:30 am EST.

That makes the price of +265 for a draw a good value one.

Leipzig’s 1-1 draw with Bayer Leverkusen last followed a 3-0 defeat of strugglers Werder Bremen and a 5-0 hammering of Schalke 04.

Seventh-placed Wolfsburg drew 2-2 away at Union Berlin last weekend. That followed a 3-2 victory at Hoffenhein and a 4-0 triumph against lowly Mainz.

With Bremen struggling – currently 17th – and Schalke enduring a fifth game without a win in the defeat by Leipzig, neither win was particularly unexpected for the Red Bull side.

Seventh-placed Wolfsburg drew 2-2 away at Union Berlin last weekend. That followed a 3-2 victory at Hoffenheim and a 4-0 triumph against lowly Mainz.

Leipzig have the second-best away record in the division – having scored 30 goals on the road while compiling a record of seven wins, three draws and only two defeats.

But Wolfsburg will be stubborn opposition.

Their home record is the Bundesliga’s 11th best with four wins, five draws and three defeats.

Leipzig’s goals tally of 62 is the third-best in Germany’s top flight.

Their campaign has been fuelled by the exploits of German international striker Timo Werner who has scored 21 Bundesliga goals; 24 in all competitions.

However, he has scored only once in his last six league appearances.

Pick: Draw +265

Bundesliga Pick 3: Freiburg vs Union Berlin

In ninth place, SC Freiburg have lost their last two games and have won only once in six.

They face 10th-placed Union Berlin – with the price for a Berlin victory of +190 one to consider on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Schwarzwald Stadion, Freiburg, 9:30 am EST.

Union Berlin have won twice, lost once and drawn once in their last four fixtures.

A Freiburg win is rated at +135 with the draw also good value at +235.

Union Berlin have won twice, lost once and drawn once in their last four fixtures.

Their most recent result was a 2-2 draw at home against Wolfsburg last weekend.

Freiburg drew 1-1 with Augsburg on February 15 and have subsequently suffered a 2-0 reverse at home against Fortuna Dusseldorf followed by a 1-0 setback at Borussia Dortmund.

Pick: Union Berlin +190
