All Odds taken Feb. 19
Pick 1: Schalke vs RB Leipzig
This will be the second meeting between these two sides this season, with Schalke convincingly beating Leipzig by a score of 3-1 back in September. This time around, Leipzig will travel to Veltins Arena, where Schalke haven’t lost in their last ten home games.
However, Julian Nagelsmann’s men are in fine form lately and will have loads of confidence after their first-leg Champions League round of 16 victory over Tottenham on Wednesday in North London. Leipzig is showing they have the ability to compete in Europe and for a Bundesliga title this year.

Their draw against Bayern Munich on February 9th has kept the fight for first place extremely tight at the top of the table. Timo Werner has been deadly in the final third this term, netting 26 goals across all competitions, including 20 in domestic play.
Schalke are on a current four-game winless streak in the Bundesliga, with their last league victory dating back to January 17th, when they beat Monchengladbach. They’ve scored just once in four matches since their last win and could desperately use three points this weekend. It will be no easy task though against an electric Leipzig side.
Although David Wagner’s squad has been unstoppable at home, Leipzig should continue their good form with a vital three points on the road this Saturday.
Pick: Leipzig 2-1
Pick 2: Borussia Monchengladbach vs Hoffenheim
Monchengladbach thrashed Hoffenheim 3-0 in September and will be looking for a similar result this weekend on home soil.
Marco Rose’s squad is having a spectacular year, currently tied with Dortmund in third place on 42 points. They’ve conceded the least goals of any team in the Bundesliga, letting in just 24 in 21 matches. Monchengladbach has lost just once in their last five matches, including a gritty 2-2 draw with Leipzig on February 1st. Alassane Plea and Marcus Thuram have been an exhilarating duo up top for Gladbach, with Plea netting eight times and tallying five assists, while Thuram has bagged six and set up another seven goals.

Hoffenheim is struggling lately, losing three of their last five matches. two of those three defeats have been on consecutive matchdays as well. It doesn’t get any easier, with Monchengladbach and Bayern ahead on consecutive weekends. They haven’t beat their Matchday 23 opponents since April of 2017, going winless in their last 12 meetings against them.
Given Monchengladbach’s recent run of success and their unstoppable form on home soil having not lost at Borussia Park since August of 2019, they should definitely secure the full three points against Hoffenheim this weekend.
Pick: Monchengladbach 2-0
Pick 3: Werder Bremen vs Borussia Dortmund
Werder Bremen still have the taste in their mouth of knocking out Dortmund in the DFB-Pokal, beating them 3-2 just two weeks ago. They’ll be looking for the same type of success this weekend against Lucien Favre’s men. These two sides met back on Matchday 6 as well, playing to a 2-2 draw.
Dortmund enters this match on cloud nine, beating French giants PSG 2-1 in the first leg of the UCL round of 16 on Tuesday behind Erling Haaland’s double. They’re three points off second-place Leipzig and a full four off of league-leaders Bayern Munich. With fixtures ahead against both Bayern and Leipzig, every match is important as Dortmund looks to make a run at a Bundesliga title. A win this weekend would be a step in the right direction.

Bremen have had a disappointing campaign, currently in 17th place. They’re basically playing the spoiler at this point, with four games ahead against top-five sides. Florian Kohfeldt’s men have lost their last four home games, failing to score a goal in each match. With their recent history of high-scoring affairs against Dortmund though, that trend should change in the coming days.
With Dortmund carrying momentum from their UCL win, I expect BVB to collect three points on Saturday.
Pick: 3-1
