After a busy week of European action, the English Premier League returns this weekend with five games taking place on Saturday as we fast approach the business end of the season. 

West Ham and Sunderland kick off proceedings, with their game commencing at 7:30 am ET, followed by three more matches at 10:00 am ET, and Bournemouth v Liverpool at 12.30 pm ET.

Below, I have selected my picks for all five EPL games taking place on Jan 24, with the best odds on offer from sportsbooks. Under the table, my my rationale and research for my three best bets of the day.

Manchester City v Wolves Pick: Erling Haaland 2+ goals (+195 at FanDuel)

Erling Haaland had his way with Wolves when the two sides met in the Premier League opener last August, scoring twice. Since then, Haaland has barely missed a beat with 20 Premier League goals to his name. 

The Norwegian international’s prolific scoring has slowed down in recent weeks, with just one goal in his last seven games.

Manchester City themselves put in one of their worst performances of the season midweek, losing 3-1 away to Bodo/Glimt in the Champions League. A home game against bottom-placed Wolves feels like the perfect opportunity for a response from the Etihad outfit. Seven points back of Arsenal in table – and a distant +451 second-favorite in the EPL title odds – City will be desperate to return to winning ways, with their star striker eager to extend his lead in the Golden Boot race. (Haaland’s 20 are four ahead of Brentford’s Igor Thiago.)

Fulham v Brighton Pick: Under 1.5 Goals (+300 at bet365)

Fulham barely laid a glove on Leeds in their defeat last week and now face the tough task of hosting a stingy Brighton defence at Craven Cottage. 

The Seagulls opened 2026 with a clean sheet against Burnley and looked resolute in their recent 1-1 draw with Manchester City, while also remaining stubborn in defence during their entertaining draw against Bournemouth on Monday. 

Expect a cautious and cagey affair in London, with a 1-0 win either way the most likely outcome. 

Bournemouth v Liverpool Pick: Liverpool over 2.5 Goals (+200 at Caesars)

For as much as this season has seemed like a crisis for Liverpool, they sit fourth in the EPL table and are unbeaten in their last 13 games. 

Arne Slot’s side has drawn far too many games during that run, but an impressive 3-0 away win to Ligue 1 side Marseille in the Champions League during the week, combined with the return of Mo Salah from AFCON duty, suggests a potential turning point for the Reds. The reigning champions have no shortage of firepower and playmakers up front, with summer signing Florian Wirtz beginning to find form while Cody Gakpo and Hugo Ekitike continue to scrap it out for the starting striker job. 

Bournemouth have been involved in a number of thrillers in their last eight games, including a memorable 4-4 draw against Manchester United. During that stretch, they have conceded an average of 2.5 goals per game. While they will be hoping to tighten up defensively at home, expect Liverpool to find their scoring boots for this one.
