We all expected the English teams to choke at Europa, but we didn’t think it would start this early. After bombing out of the Champions League, Tottenham were given a shot to redeem themselves at Europa. But, true to English football, they bottled their Round of 32 games against Gent, the seventh-ranked team in the Belgian league.

That leaves the other favorites – Manchester United, Roma, Lyon and Celta Vigo – with a much better chance to take the cup. The Round of 16 games has been announced, so where does that leave the teams?

Here are the odds!

Odds to win the 2017 Europa League:

Manchester United: 2/1

Manchester United won the League Cup last weekend, which normally would not mean a lot to them, but at the moment they’ll celebrate anything they can get their hands on. Man U had a disastrous start to the season but their form of late has been surprisingly good. They are undefeated in sixteen league games (though with a ton of draws) and made easy work of ASSE in the Round of 32.

They face Russian side FC Rostov in the Round of 16, who they are expected to comfortably beat. As luck would have it, Roma and Lyon have drawn each other so if United advance to the quarterfinals, they’ll be an even heavier favorite.

Roma: 19/6

The focus may be on Man U at the moment, but don’t rule Roma out just yet. The Italian giants are currently second in Serie A and are coming off a huge win against Inter Milan. They faced a tough opponent in Villarreal in the Round of 32, and will be challenged again when they face Lyon in the Round of 16.

It’s an unlucky draw for the Italians, but with their current form and impressive line-up, they shouldn’t have too much difficulty advancing.

Celta Vigo: 12/1

Celta Vigo are full of surprises. Though they are ranked a lowly 10th place in La Liga, the small Spanish squad have pulled off upset wins against both Real Madrid and Barcelona this season. They reached the semifinals of the Copa del Rey, and are now into the Round of 16 in Europa. Celta Vigo has shown time and time again that it’s a mistake to underestimate them.

Lyon: 12/1

Lyon have done extremely well at Europa so far, beating AZ Alkmaar 4-1 and then 7-1. But to their dismay, they’ve drawn Roma for the Round of 16. They’re a strong team, but they’re definitely the underdog against the Italian side.

Other Contenders:

Schalke: 15/1
Borussia Monchengladbach: 16/1
Besiktas: 20/1
Ajax: 25/1
FC Copenhagen: 50/1
