- Get the odds, pick, and betting preview for next week’s UCL clash between the two clubs
Belgian side Club Brugge travel to Turkey on Tuesday, November 26, at 12:55 pm EST to face Galatasaray as both squads seek their first victories of the 2019/20 Champions League group stage. These two respective sides couldn’t be in a tougher group though with French giants PSG and Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid.
Club Brugge have managed to draw twice, once against Galatasaray when they last played on September 18th, then also against Real Madrid, 2-2 on October 1st at the Bernabeu. The Belgians currently have two points, third in the group.
Galatasaray have struggled, losing to Real Madrid twice and PSG once, including a 6-0 defeat by Eden Hazard and co. on November 6th. They have just one point from their 0-0 draw with Brugge, putting them last in group A.
These two sides are very even. However, Galatasaray enters this home clash as slight favorites at +148.

Brugge in Fine Form Domestically
Club Brugge have been impressive in Belgium’s top tier this term, sitting in first place with just one defeat. They have scored 33 goals domestically in just 14 matches. But given their competition on the European stage, it’s been very hard for the Belgians to translate that form.

Their respectable draw against Madrid on the road was definitely a positive considering they bagged two goals against one of best clubs in the world, but other than that, they’ve been relatively lackluster in European competition. Brugge has no chance of advancing to the Round of 16, but a good result on Tuesday in Turkey can give them some more confidence heading into their last group fixture against Real Madrid in Brussels in December.
Galatasaray Struggling All-Around
The Turkish giants are struggling domestically, sitting in sixth place in the Super Lig, bagging just 13 goals in 11 matches. Their poor form in Turkey has been evident in Europe as well, failing to score a goal through four matches.

There is no question that their competition in group A has been quite difficult, but the fact they haven’t found the net even once is disappointing. They have also registered just 1.5 shots on target per match in the group stage, which is last among all 32 sides in Europe’s most prized competition.

Should Be a Close Match
Both teams have really struggled to find the back of the net in Champions League play, so don’t expect a lot of goals in this Group A fixture. But given Brugge’s domestic form and Galatasaray’s struggles in their respective league, I believe the Belgian side is going to come out on top in this one by a close margin.
Pick: Club Brugge 1-0
