Reigning-champion England punched its ticket to the 2025 UEFA Women’s Euro final yesterday and, on Wednesday, Germany (2-1-1, +0 GD) and Spain (4-0-0, +13 GD) will clash at Letzigrund Stadion in Zurich for the right to face England in Sunday’s finale. Germany and Spain kickoff at 3:00 pm ET. Germany/England will stream live on Fubo TV and SBD readers can get a 30-day free trial of Fubo TV with this link.
Despite Germany winning the last two head-to-head matches, Spain is a huge favorite to, not only advance, but do so in 90 minutes.

It’s not terribly surprising Spain is so heavily favored when you consider their recent body of work. They have won each of their first four Euro games by at least two goals and started the tournament with 5-0 and 6-2 wins over Portugal and Belgium, respectively. Spain is also the defending Women’s World Cup champion, winning the title in 2022 in Australia. Spain enters Wednesday on a nine-game win streak in all competitions.
Spain advanced to the semifinals with a 2-0 win over host Switzerland, generating 3.71 xGF to a paltry 0.12 for the Swiss. Spain didn’t allow a shot on target the entire game.
The Germans have looked vulnerable throughout the tournament; they have conceded the first goal in three of four games, got trounced by Sweden (4-1) in the final game of the group stage, and survived a penalty shootout win over France in the quarters despite playing a woman down from the 13th minute. France finished the game with nine shots on target to Germany’s two.
Germany can hang its hat on its head-to-head record against Spain, though. In seven matches dating back to 2011, Germany is 4-3-0 against the Spaniards with a +8 goal difference. That includes a 1-0 victory in the 2024 Olympics and a 2-0 win at the 2022 Women’s Euro.
Spain has been on an absolute tear since the Olympics, shooting from seventh in the world all the way to second, trailing only the USWNT by a fairly narrow margin.
Germany vs Spain Picks & Prediction
My two favorite picks for Germany/Spain are fairly chalky, but amply supported by the trends. First, I’m targeting over 2.5 goals at -175. Spain has exceeded this number by itself in three of four games, and Spain games are averaging 4.75 GPG in the tournament. During their current nine-game win streak, the Spanish have only kept a clean sheet twice. They generate a ton of chance, but sometimes at the expense of defense.
If there’s one thing bettors have been able to count on Germany for, it’s goals. The Germans haven’t been shutout in 15 straight games, and they’ve scored multiple goals in ten of those.
Spain’s relentless attack and Germany’s top-end goal-scoring talent will send this game over the total of 2.5.
I’m also betting Spain to win in regular time at -195. The Spaniards have become an absolute freight train. There have been blips along the way, but few would dispute that they have been the best team in the world over the last four years. The boast the last four Ballon d’Or winners in Aitana Bonmatí (2023, 2024) and Alexia Putellas (2021, 2022), who comprise two-thirds of arguably the best midfield in women’s soccer history. Meanwhile, prolific 32-year-old Esther González hasn’t showed any signs of slowing down, leading the tournament with four goals in four matches.
If you’re looking for a riskier play with longer odds, these two picks can be parlayed at +115 at BetMGM.
