Leon returns to action as strong -139 favorites in Monday night’s clash at Estadio Nou Camp after extending their current unbeaten streak to seven matches with a 3-2 comeback victory in Queretaro on Sunday. The club’s hot streak leaves one point adrift of UNAM in the race for first place and sporting solid +450 odds to win Torneo Guardianes.

Los Verdiblancos have been almost perfect at home in 2020, going 9-1-0 across all competitions, with the only blemish on their home record being a 1-1 draw with Tigres UANL last time out. Leon has also posted four straight victories over Pumas, but have seen their offensive production taper off at home, with just six total goals scored in their past four contests.

Cruz Azul Favored to Keep Pace Atop Liga MX Table

Currently deadlocked with Pumas at 22 points, Cruz Azul will be aiming to maintain at least a share of first place as they visit Mazatlan FC on Friday night as +105 chalk. Fresh off a 2-1 win in Tijuana last weekend, La Maquina now sport up a league-leading seven wins through their first 10 outings.

But the club have struggled to maintain consistency on the road, going 2-1-2 in five away contests so far this season. Cruz Azul have also scored just three total goals over their past three matches after potting three markers in each of their previous three contests. In addition, the club has also been held off the scoresheet in each of their two losses this season, which both came on the road.

Mazatlan return home as +270 underdogs after earning a 1-1 draw in last Saturday’s road date with Club Atlas. The club still has work to do to overcome a dismal start that saw them record just one win through their first eight outings, but are now unbeaten in two straight outings.

Two clubs looking to get back into the hunt for first place clash on Sunday as Club America hosts Chivas Guadalajara as +100 favorites. The Eagles saw a three-match win streak snapped with last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Toluca, dumping the club to fourth place on the league table, two points back of both Pumas and Cruz Azul. Overall, Club America have posted just one win in their past three home dates, and have also turned in mixed results in recent clashes with Guadalajara, posting wins in just three of seven meetings in all competitions.

Chivas look to maintain their recent steady play on the road as they visit Club America as +260 underdogs. Unbeaten in four matches overall, Chivas have also earned the win in three of their past four road outings, but remain winless in each of their past five road dates with Club America, capped by a lopsided 4-1 defeat in September of last year.
