It’s a quick turnaround in Serie A with Serie A Matchday 15 getting underway on Tuesday and wrapping up on Thursday.
Juventus will have a chance to grab a much-needed result as they clash with relegation-threatened Salernitana Calcio, while league leaders Napoli lock horns with Sassuolo on Wednesday. In other action, Bologna can move within a point of Roma if three points are secured against Jose Mourinho’s side.

Bologna vs Roma Prediction
Bologna welcomes fifth-place Roma to town on Wednesday for an important match for both sides. The hosts currently sit in ninth spot with 21 points, while the visitors are in fifth with 25 entering Serie A Matchday 15.
SiniÅ¡a Mihajlović’s men are enjoying a nice run of form, winning three of their last four games.

On Sunday, Bologna collected the full points in a 1-0 victory over Spezia Calcio thanks to a late spot-kick from Austrian international Marko Arnautovic. Despite their recent success, this is not a fixture that Bologna has enjoyed much success. In fact, they’ve only won one of their previous 12 clashes with Roma on home soil.
Mourinho’s squad is also playing well, securing back-to-back Serie A wins. On Matchday 14, Tammy Abraham’s 32nd-minute strike propelled Roma to victory against Torino, taking his tally to four goals on the season. To be frank, the Giallorossi had numerous chances to extend their lead, but they lacked the end product.

Nonetheless, it’s two games in a row with no goals conceded which is always seen as a huge positive. Even better, Roma has won four of their last five encounters with Bologna, netting 12 times in the process.
That being said, I have to take the visitors to continue that trend.
Pick: Roma +125
Sassuolo vs Napoli Prediction
Sassuolo meets the top team in Italy for an extremely tough match on Wednesday in Serie A Matchday 15. The hosts will be coming into this game with massive confidence after comfortably beating AC Milan on the weekend, 3-1. Milan got on the scoresheet early but Sassuolo drew level just minutes later with a breathtaking strike from center-forward Gianluca Scammaca, who quickly silenced the San Siro.

The visitors then doubled their lead before halftime thanks to Scammaca again, who saw his volley smash off Simon Kjaer and into the Milan net. Domenico Berardi sealed the deal in the second period with a fine solo goal. Aside from just taking down one of the best clubs in the top flight, Alessio Dionisi’s men are unbeaten in their last two meetings with Napoli.
Luciano Spalletti’s Napoli is flying high this term, registering an impressive 11-2-1 record while scoring 30 goals and conceding just seven. The Blues got back on track over the weekend after two consecutive defeats to Inter then Spartak Moscow in Europe as they absolutely throttled Lazio by four goals.

It was a statement victory that Napoli needed badly. Belgium international Dries Mertens was the star of the show for his side, scoring a brace and keeping the hosts unbeaten on home soil this season. It was a truly dominant performance that should help them take momentum into Wednesday.
Napoli has only one victory in their previous six visits to Sassuolo, with four ending in draws and another resulting in defeat. The hosts are going to be feeling very good about the Milan win and will be hopeful the same can happen here. However, I’m predicting the points to be shared.
Pick: Draw +285
Lazio vs Udinese Prediction
Lazio will be looking to bounce back from an embarrassing 4-0 defeat to Napoli when they welcome Udinese to the Stadio Olimpico on Serie A Matchday 15. It really hasn’t been a great season for Maurizio Sarri’s side, who are currently in eighth place and a whole 14 points off the top.

Despite a Europa League win last week, the Eagles have lost two straight Serie A games, conceding six times and failing to find the back of the net. Aside from Ciro Immobile’s 10 goals, Lazio is looking rather lifeless in the final third. However, they’re in fine form against Udinese, winning 10 of 13 and keeping 10 clean sheets as well.
Udinese is struggling to find victories, collecting only one in their last 11 appearances. However, Luca Gotti’s men have played to five draws during that span. Matchday 14 saw Udinese end in a goalless stalemate with Genoa, leaving them in 14th spot in the Serie A table. However, the visitors did run out as 3-1 winners in their most recent trip to the Stadio Olimpico in November of 2020, their first win in five clashes with Lazio.

The hosts are playing very poor football right now, but Udinese isn’t much better. Nevertheless, I believe this is going to be a grind for Lazio and it’ll take one moment of brilliance to give them a crucial three points.
