- The UEFA Nations League will play part of its fifth matchday on Saturday, November 14th, as part of this week’s international break
- There will be multiple important games on Saturday as leaders in League A Group 3 and Group 4 face off for an advantage to get into the Nations League Finals
- The highlight match on Saturday is between Portugal and France and is favored to be won by Ronaldo and company with a moneyline of +148
Without the Euros taking place this summer, fans are craving some good international footy. Thankfully, we are in store for some on Saturday thanks to the UEFA Nations League. Some of the best teams in the world will be playing each other, but we need to especially keep an eye on Portugal hosting France. This one ended in a 0-0 stalemate in the reverse fixture, so we are due for some goals from Mbappe, Ronaldo and Jota.
Those two teams are tied at the top of Nations League, League A Group 3. However, they are not the only top teams fighting for a lead in their respective group. Spain and Germany also play in two separate games on Saturday as they are within a point of each other in Group 4. Overall, it should be a great matchday of international football in UEFA Nations League for fans to enjoy around the world.

UEFA Nations League Pick 1: Switzerland vs Spain
The 2010 World Cup winners, Spain, are favored to win their Nations League match against Switzerland, and rightly so. Luis Enrique’s side are atop Group 4 and need a win more than ever to keep Germany at an arm’s length. They lost their last match on the 13th of October which should encourage them to go on and win against Switzerland, a side they already beat 1-0 this year.
176 – Sergio Ramos 🇪🇸 has won 176 caps for Spain, equalling Gianluigi Buffon’s 🇮🇹 record for international appearances by a European player. Eternal. https://t.co/ro8OpPfn66

Switzerland have failed to win a match in this edition of the Nations League and will probably keep that streak rolling against the Spaniards. They just do not have the depth to keep up with a side like this and personally, it is obvious this is a must-win for Spain if they want to capture first place in the group. With a moneyline of -113, betting on them to win is a solid choice.
My Pick: Spain moneyline (-113)
UEFA Nations League Pick 2: Portugal vs France
The Nations League game everybody wants to hear about, Portugal against France. The inaugural Nations League winners versus the most recent World Cup victors. On paper, this match is everything a football fan could wish for with goals, tactics and tricks. Additionally, both teams haven’t lost a game in their four Nations League matches. Despite this, their first match against each other was a complete snoozer.

Portugal’s attack is scary good and with both Ronaldo and Jota on form, they will be tough to stop. France will be without Benjamin Pavard and Nabil Fekir which I think will hurt them in terms of depth, and let us be honest, Paul Pogba and Antoine Griezmann might not be the players they were a few years ago. For those reasons, I am picking Portugal to win this one at home.
My Pick: Portugal moneyline (+148)

UEFA Nations League Pick 3: Sweden vs Croatia
Despite being World Cup runners up in 2018, Croatia are in third place of League A Group 3 in the Nations League. Their only win comes against their opponents on Saturday in a 2-1 victory in Zagreb. Sweden are yet to muster a point, but it is not their fault they got paired in a literal group of death with three of the best teams in the world, right?
Nonetheless, Croatia has been scoring and conceding goals in the Nations League. They have great attackers in Luka Modric and suspect defenders in Domagoj Vida. All of their matches this year have hit the ‘over’ on 2.5 total goals which suggest the ‘over’ is a good call.
My Pick: Over 2.5 total goals (+125)
