Ilya Ivashka vs Jordan Thompson Prediction
There isn’t much to choose from between Ilya Ivashka and Jordan Thompson on the odds board. There’s also little difference between the two players on the tennis court.
Belarussian Ivashka is #79 in the world. Australian Thompson is #78 in the world. Both players are 27 years old. Each turned pro in 2013 and both play right-handed.
Jordan Thompson is having some sort of week at #Wimbledon!

Thompson had never won a match at Wimbledon entering this year. He earned his third-round place by toppling former world #4 and US Open finalist Kei Nishikori 7-5, 6-4, 5-7, 6-3. Nishikori is also a two-time Wimbledon quarterfinalist. Thompson’s tournament opener was a 7-6(8-6), 7-6(7-3), 2-6, 2-6, 6-2 triumph over world #14 Casper Ruud.
In winning his first two Wimbledon matches over Jaume Munar and Jeremy Chardy, Ivashka ended up working four sets in each match. He reached the quarterfinals on the grass courts of Eastbourne as a tune-up for Wimbledon.
Considering the quality of opponent he’s overcome so far, give Thompson the slight edge in a match that should go the distance.
Pick: Jordan Thompson +128; Thompson 3-2 (+600)
Herbert Hurkacz vs Alexander Bublik Prediction
A power service game is a wonderful way to find success at Wimbledon. The 6-foot-5 Alexander Bublik is known for his serve and he’s serving notice that he’ll be a factor at Wimbledon this year. Bublik leads the ATP Tour with 457 aces. That’s more than 100 ahead of second-place Reilly Opelka (331).
The 24-year-old Kazakh was dominating in his second-round win over world #18 Grigor Dimitrov. Bublik smacked 35 aces and hit 63 winners to take out the Bulgarian, a 2014 Wimbledon semifinalist by a 6-4, 7-6(8-6), 7-6(7-4) margin. World #38 Bublik, who reached the round of 32 at the 2019 US Open, has yet to be broken through two rounds at Wimbledon. Meanwhile, he’s delivered 51 aces.
What a performance 🔥🎾
Hubert Hurkacz defeats Marcos Giron 6:3 6:2 6:4 and will face Alexander Bublik in the THIRD ROUND of @Wimbledon❗️That equals his best career slam result. He played in the third round in London two years ago.

Hurkacz brought a halt to his six-match losing skid with his two wins so far at Wimbledon. The world #18 from Poland didn’t face a break point in the second round against American Marcos Giron, winning 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 . He’ll be in the third round at Wimbledon for the second time in his career.
The 14 seed at Wimbledon, Herbet Hurkacz won his his maiden Masters 1000 title earlier this year in the Delray Beach Open. It was his second ATP Tour victory. However, Hurkacz is just 2-2 in grass court play this year. Bublik is 5-3 on grass in 2021.
As well, Bublik won their only previous meeting. He defeated Hurkacz 6-2, 7-5 last year in Dubai.
Pick: Alexander Bublik +106; Bublik 3-1 (+480)
Felix Auger-Aliassime vs Nick Kyrgios Prediction
Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassame, 20, is the second-youngest player ranked among the ATP Tour top 20. He’s 19th in the world. The #16 seed at Wimbledon, he’s also 10th on the tour this season with 271 aces.
Auger-Alisassame is a solid 8-2 on grass this year (.800) and 16-5 all-time (.730). Through two rounds, he’s served 27 aces. In the second round against Mikael Ymer, Auger-Aliassime won 80% of his first-service points. He’s dropped one set through two rounds.

Playing tournament tennis for the first time since the Australian Open, Kyrgios worked five sets for a first-round victory over #21 seed Ugo Humbert. The mercurial, unpredictable Australian shows a 48:11 winners to unforced errors ratio in his two Wimbledon matches.
Auger-Aliassime won their only previous meeting, recording a 6-7(4-7), 7-6(7-3), 7-5 verdict on grass in the 2019 London Queen’s Club tourney.
