So many huge names didn’t make it to the second round of Wimbledon, which chance the odds scenario for most of the players. Novak Djokovic along with Andy Murray remain as the ones expected to be in the final, but if anything has the tournament this year is that you can’t expect anything.
These are the odds for the 16 players standing in the Men’s division:
Novak Djokovic 4/5
Andy Murray 27/20
Juan Martin del Potro 18/1
Tomas Berdych 25/1
Jerzy Janowicz 16/1
Bernard Tomic 65/1
David Ferrer 25/1
Tommy Haas 30/1
Fernando Verdasco 65/1
Andreas Seppi 200/1
Mikhail Youzhny 100/1
Ivan Dodig 200/1
Jurgen Melzer 200/1
Kenny De Schepper 300/1
Lukasz Kubot 200/1
Adrian Mannarino 250/1
On the women’s side, Serena Williams seems to have no competition; she won Roland Garros and the efforts there haven’t affected her performance on grass. It seems Williams is heading toward another Grand Slam win.
Serena Williams 1/5
Petra Kvitova 9/1
Agnieszka Radwanska 25/1
Li Na 20/1
Sabine Lisicki 20/1
Sloane Stephens 10/1
Laura Robson 30/1
Marion Bartoli 25/1
Kaia Kanepi 50/1
Flavia Pennetta 125/1
Roberta Vinci 150/1
Kirsten Flipkens 65/1
Tsvetana Pironkova 100/1
Carla Suarez Navarro 125/1
Monica Puig 100/1
Karin Knapp 50/1
Wimbledon restarts on Monday with great matchups; if there’s someone you like to win the tournament by now, you should bet on tennis now because those numbers will change as the rounds pass by.
These have been one of the oddest Grand Slams in a while, but it doesn’t mean it lack of potential to get some cash out of it.
