The 2026 Frozen Four national championship is here. Wisconsin and Denver meet Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with a national title on the line.
Both of my semifinal predictions cashed Thursday with the under 5.5 in Wisconsin’s 2-1 win over North Dakota and Denver’s moneyline upset of Michigan in double overtime, so let’s keep it rolling for the title game.
Here are my Wisconsin vs Denver prediction, picks, best bets and how to watch the 2026 Frozen Four final.

I’m going under 5.5 goals for my Wisconsin vs Denver prediction. The goaltending matchup is the easy sell here.
Johnny Hicks is 15-0-1 and has never lost a game in regulation that he’s started in college. He stopped 49 of 52 shots from Michigan’s nation-leading offense in the semifinal and is allowing just over a goal per game on the season. He hasn’t given up four goals in any game since taking over the starting job in late January.
Daniel Hauser has been every bit as good for Wisconsin in the tournament. The Badgers’ freshman has allowed just five total goals across three NCAA tournament games and made 21 saves against North Dakota, including a sprawling glove save through traffic with two minutes left to preserve the lead.
Championship games tend to tighten up. Both teams play with structure, both have hot goalies, and the under has hit in four of Denver’s last six games. I’ll take the under here.
Wisconsin vs Denver Picks
- Wisconsin Moneyline (+145 at DraftKings)
Here’s where I’m putting my money for my Wisconsin vs Denver picks. The Badgers are getting a great price as +145 underdogs, and I think they’re flat-out the better bet on the moneyline.
Mike Hastings has been one game-planning masterclass after another in this tournament. He held a Michigan State team that was the No. 3 overall seed to a regional final comeback, then game-planned a North Dakota offense that ranked third in the country into one empty-net goal. He also has revenge on his mind, having lost the 2022 national title game to David Carle and Denver while at Minnesota State.
The rest factor matters, too. Denver played 92 minutes and 35 seconds of hockey Thursday, the third-longest Frozen Four game in history, while Wisconsin wrapped up its semifinal in regulation. That’s a real edge in a quick turnaround.
- Wisconsin +1.5 Puck Line (-166 at DraftKings)
If you want a safer way to back the Badgers, the puck line is right there. Wisconsin has been in tight, one-goal games throughout this tournament, and Denver hasn’t blown anyone out outside of regional play.
Six of Denver’s last 10 wins have come by one goal or in overtime, including two of their last three. Hicks keeps games close, and the Badgers’ defense plus Hauser should keep this one within a goal either way.
- Wisconsin ML + Under 5.5 SGP (+284 at DraftKings)
Wrapping up my Wisconsin vs Denver picks, I’m taking a swing on a same-game parlay combining my moneyline and total picks. Wisconsin ML plus the under 5.5 pays out at +284, and both legs feel like they fit the same game script.
If Hauser steals one and the Badgers grind out a 2-1 or 3-2 win, both legs cash. After hitting both semifinal predictions Thursday, I’m feeling good about doubling up on the angle here.
Wisconsin vs Denver Odds
Odds as of April 11 at DraftKings. Check out SBD’s DraftKings promo code to bet on the 2026 Frozen Four final.
The Wisconsin vs Denver odds have moved slightly toward the favorite since opening. Denver opened at -175 right after Thursday’s double-OT win and has since been bet up to -188, while Wisconsin drifted from +135 to +145. The puck line also moved against the Badgers, going from +1.5 (-188) to +1.5 (-166).
Denver’s -188 price translates to roughly a 65% implied probability. Wisconsin’s +145 gives the Badgers about a 41% implied chance, which feels low given how they’ve played in this tournament. A $100 bet on Wisconsin to win outright would return $145 in profit.
The total sits at 5.5 with the under juiced to -125, and 67% of the public is backing Denver on the moneyline. That’s a lot of action piling onto the favorite, which makes the Badgers a sneaky contrarian play.
