The end of the first games on each group will be this Tuesday, along with the beginning of the second set when Belgium vs. Algeria, Brazil vs. Mexico, and Russia vs. South Korea takes the stage on June 17th; the sixth day at the 2014 World Cup.

Belgium (-200) vs Algeria (+750), Group H, 12 PM ET

Belgium was a pleasant surprise for over the last year and a half; they had a perfect qualification stage and arrive in Brazil as one of the teams to watch.

Eden Hazard is their main guy; a small speedy striker that might be impossible to stop by the Algerian defenders-

Algeria will look for the upset, but they haven’t scored a single goal in the World Cup since 1986, including the 2010 edition where they left the tournament without a goal scored.

Best Bet: Belgium.

Brazil (-283) vs Mexico (+1100), Group A, 3 PM ET

Brazil vs. Mexico opens the second fixture for the group stage in perhaps the best game of the day.  Brazil will have a lot to prove after they looked awful against Croatia winning by a referee mistake.

The Brazilians will play with more confidence and less pressure than they did in the opening game of the tournament.  Mexico, on the other hand, will try to take advantage of the spaces Brazil’s defense leave and counterattack with speed.

Brazil leads the series with 22 wins, 10 losses and six draws.

Best Bet: Brazil.

Russia (+120) vs South Korea (+300), Group H, 6 PM ET

Russia and South Korea will try to decide who has a better shot of advancing in group H, perhaps, right next Belgium, who is the favorite.

There aren’t many numbers and meetings between these two, but Russia had a great qualification stage, outing Portugal and getting the direct ticket to the World Cup.

Best Bet: Russia.
