Monday’s NBA slate is relatively light — only four games — but there still is plenty of star power to attract bettors’ attention.
Among those in action tonight: Kevin Durant, Nikola Jokic, Jaylen Brown and Kawhi Leonard.
For prop bettors, success tonight hinges on identifying how injuries to primary ball-handlers create statistical vacuums that must be filled. Durant faces a Washington Wizards defense devoid of elite rim protection, while Jokic faces a Jazz interior that lacks the veteran physicality to contain him.
We have analyzed the rotations, defensive metrics, and usage trends to isolate the smartest plays on the board. Below are the top player prop selections for tonight’s action.
Best NBA Player Prop Bets for March 2, 2026
Prop Bet Analysis
Nikola Jokic (Nuggets) – Over 12.5 Rebounds (-105 at DraftKings): The Nuggets arrive at the Delta Center to face a Jazz roster in the midst of a youthful rebuild. With Utah’s traditional centers sidelined, its frontcourt rotation relies heavily on forward Kyle Filipowski and Ace Bailey. While talented, this duo lacks the mass and veteran savvy required to keep Jokic off the glass. Jokic remains the league’s premier rebounder, and securing plus-money odds for him to grab 13 boards against an undersized lineup is exceptional value. Jokic has had at least 13 rebounds in 23 games this season, including earlier this season against Utah. Without a true physical deterrent in the paint, expect the reigning MVP to control the defensive glass and generate second-chance opportunities at will.

Kevin Durant (Rockets) – Over 25.5 Points (-118 at DraftKings): Durant leads the Rockets into Washington with a scoring line set at a very manageable 25.5. The Wizards’ wing rotation, currently leaning on Bilal Coulibaly and Kyshawn George, faces a massive experience disadvantage against one of the most prolific scorers in NBA history. Houston’s offense requires Durant to shoulder a heavy creation load. The absence of Washington’s rim protectors, Anthony Davis and Alex Sarr, suggests the paint will be soft, allowing Durant to get to his mid-range spots with minimal resistance. Durant has scored 26 or more points 11 times in his past 20 games.
Jaylen Brown (Celtics) – Over 28.5 Points (-115 at BetMGM): Brown continues to operate as the undisputed engine of the Boston offense. His usage rate skyrockets in these alignments, and tonight he faces a Milwaukee defense still missing Giannis Antetokounmpo. While Myles Turner provides rim protection, the Bucks lack an elite perimeter stopper to prevent Brown from penetrating the lane. Expect high volume from Brown as he looks to attack a Milwaukee team struggling to find its defensive identity in a disappointing season. Brown has scored 29 or more points eight times in his past 20 games.
Kawhi Leonard (LA Clippers) – Over 26.5 Points (-106 at FanDuel): Golden State is limping into this matchup without Stephen Curry or Jimmy Butler, leaving a massive void in both playmaking and wing defense. The primary question is: Who guards Kawhi Leonard? Without Butler to clutter the passing lanes or apply physical pressure, the Warriors’ defensive options are thin. Leonard is efficient and methodical, averaging 27.9 points per game on the season and 29.1 over his past 10. Against a depleted roster, he should be able to manipulate matchups to get high-percentage looks. The line of 26.5 is standard for Leonard, but the level of resistance he faces will be significantly below average.

NBA Injury Report & Impact on Prop Market
Bucks vs. Celtics: Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) remains OUT for Milwaukee, while Jayson Tatum (Achilles) is OUT for Boston.
Betting Impact: The void left by Tatum guarantees Jaylen Brown will dominate possession and shot attempts for the Celtics. Conversely, Milwaukee’s defense loses its primary roamer in Giannis, placing immense pressure on Myles Turner to clean up defensive breakdowns at the rim.
Warriors vs. LA Clippers: The Warriors are decimated, with Stephen Curry (knee), Jimmy Butler (ACL), and Seth Curry (back) all OUT. Kristaps Porziņģis is Day-To-Day.
Betting Impact: The absence of Curry and Butler strips Golden State of its primary playmaking. This forces the available guards into a heavy facilitation role, boosting their assist floor. Defensively, the lack of veteran wings makes the Warriors highly vulnerable to Kawhi Leonard’s isolation scoring.
Wizards vs. Rockets: Washington is missing Trae Young, D’Angelo Russell, and Anthony Davis (finger). Houston is without point guard Fred VanVleet (ACL).
Betting Impact: The Wizards are fielding a skeleton crew, particularly on defense. The lack of interior presence (Davis and Alex Sarr out) clears the runway for Kevin Durant. On the flip side, the sheer volume of available shots for Washington makes Bilal Coulibaly a candidate for volume-based scoring overs, despite potential efficiency issues.
Jazz vs. Nuggets: Utah’s frontcourt is depleted with Lauri Markkanen, Walker Kessler, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Jusuf Nurkić all unavailable.
Betting Impact: This is a severe mismatch. The Jazz are forced to play small and young against Nikola Jokic, removing any legitimate resistance on the boards.
