For the first time in World Cup history, the champions and the runner up from the previous tournament will meet in the group stage as Spain and Netherland, first and second in South Africa 2010, joins Chile and Australia in Group B of Brazil 2014.

Since 2008, Spain has won two European Championships and the World Cup, and they are the team to beat despite Brazil is the favorite to win the World Cup at home.  The Spanish playing style applies tremendous pressure to the opponent and their multiple passes on offense makes them extremely difficult to beat.

Netherlands has some business to take care after losing the WC final in overtime four years ago.  The Dutch are fast and loaded with talent up front; plus, they are tired of being called the eternal seconds.

Chile could be one of the most dangerous teams in the entire tournament, and if Spain or Netherlands don’t take them seriously, consequences will be suffered.

Australia has no shot and the team knows it, but they will fight in every game, believe me.

Here are the odds for Group B:

To Qualify

Spain (2/9), Netherlands (8/13), Chile (6/5), Australia (17)

Not To Qualify

Australia (1/19), Chile (7/10), Netherlands (6/4), Spain (4)

To Finish Bottom

Australia (1/3), Chile (5), Netherlands (23/2), Spain (40)

Head to Head Odds:

June 13 | Spain (11/10) vs Netherlands (31/10), Draw (12/5)

June 13 | Chile (8/15) vs Australia (13/2), Draw (13/4)

June 18| Australia (10/1) vs Netherlands (4/11), Draw (4/1)

June 18 | Spain (4/5) vs Chile (9/2), Draw (29/10)

June 23 | Netherlands (13/10) vs Chile (11/5), Draw (12/5)

June 23 | Australia (25/2) vs Spain (1/4), Draw (11/2)
