The Oklahoma City gave quite an effort and snapped the San Antonio Spurs 19 game winning streak on Thursday, and now will challenge the Houston Rockets, this Friday at 9:30 PM ET at the Toyota Center.

The Thunder is also keeping an eye on star Kevin Durant who can tie Michael Jordan’s record with 40 games scoring at least 25 points.

“That’s a lot of games to be scoring 25 points in a row,” guard Russell Westbrook said of Durant, who has not been held under 25 in a game since Jan. 5. “You can’t just not think about that. That’s an unbelievable stat. I think he may just finish the season doing that. He does that in his sleep.”

Since James Harden joined the Rockets, the Thunder has won nine of the last 12 games in the series; Houston will have to go without Dwight Howard and Patrick Beverly, who are out with a knee injury.

“(Missing two starters) definitely changes things. Guys are not used to playing that many minutes and being asked to make that many plays,” said Harden. “It’s tough but like I said, we have to figure out a way to get through it. All the good teams have had their struggles. Ours is coming late in the season and we’ve got to figure it out.

Even without those players the Rockets are 2.5 point favorites in this matchup.  The game total was set at 212.5.
