With a new coach after a terrible World Cup and after beating Netherlands last Thursday (2-0) Italy wants to start their road to the Euro 2016 off on the right foot. For this, they need to win Norway next Tuesday September 9th, at 14:45 ET in the Oslo Ulleval Stadium.

In spite of making a crappy World Cup, Azzurri’s are the favorites on the odd for this game: –125, +270 in case of a draw and +400 for Norway.

Both teams are part of the group H, and they will be facing Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Croatia and Malta.

Former coach of the Juventus, Antonio Conte, is the new head coach of Italy. Conte is arriving in the middle of a trophy crisis at the Azzurri, after Italy failing on consecutive times on the group stage of the last two FIFA World Cups with very painful defeats like the one they have against Costa Rica in Brazil 2014.

In their last six games, Italy has won only two games (Netherlands and England) on an awful balance for the four times FIFA World Cup Champion.  Looking forward to a change, they bring Antonio Conte. After making impressive campaigns and changes when he arrived in the Juventus, Italy is hoping Conte makes something similar this time with the national team. The coach understands this and is looking forward to qualified and win next Euro 2016 in France.

“There are mature player here and also youngsters who can become great champions.” “There is a very long way to go, but as I always say, winning helps,” said after beating the Oranje last Tuesday.

To this game, Italy arrives without the 35-year-old Juventud midfielder Andrea Pirlo. He was ruled out of the game with a right thigh injury in a recent friendly.

On the other side, Norway has no victory on their last six matches, and there are hoping to make a good match against at home against Italy.

This is the 14th time both teams meet with a positive record for Italy (6-4-3) on the last 13 games.
