- A sweet, sweet 9-game NBA slate is what bettors are starring down Wednesday, December 1, 2021
- A great way to get in on the action are NBA player props which are all over the place on a slate like tonight’s

Wednesday night will be one for the books for NBA bettors as 18 teams take the floor. Anytime there are this many games on the board it feels like a buffet for gamblers. Tonight is no different.
If there was something to complain about it would be the lack of nationally televised games. But being that the Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics are on NBA TV at 7:30pm ET, we should be able to get by. If that’s not enough, we’ve got the Sacramento Kings and Los Angeles Clippers right behind them on the same channel at 10:30pm ET. I think we’re good with action because at the end of the day, we all have score apps too.
There are more unforeseen roster changes in the NBA than any other sport. Because of that, many books are reluctant to post player prop lines too early in the day. For that reason, not all of the teams in action tonight are included in the table below. Scroll down to see the lines that are available and a couple of best bets.

Tyrese Maxey the Dish Man
Everyone knows if the Philadelphia 76ers are playing then I’m going to do everything I can to find a way to play Tyrese Maxey. This kid is as good as they come and he’s as versatile as any young guard in the league. If you need him to score, then he’ll score. If you want him to pass, then he will pass. The kid is special.
Not to mention, he’s a bit of a history buff too. Either that or he’s scared of Sam Cassell.
Wholesome moment here. Alaa Abdelnaby refers to Sam Cassell as a 2-time champion and Tyrese Maxey corrects him, saying Cassell is a 3-time champion.

Tonight we’re going to go in on Maxey a little. This feels like the perfect time to take a shot downfield on him since his role has changed so much recently that the books really don’t know how to price him. With Joel Embiid out, he was asked to be a scorer and facilitator. After watching his last two games with Embiid back, it looks like he could be a pass first type – which changes everything.
It’s not that Maxey is John Stockton at this point but over the last two contests with Embiid in tow, he’s seen an average of 12.5 potential assists. He’s also only taken 27 shots in those two games. I think we could see a close one in Boston tonight and if that happens, Maxey will be on the floor for 35+ minutes. It feels like a great spot to take him over his assists number at FanDuel.
- The Pick: Tyrese Maxey 6+ assists (+240)
- The Pick: Tyrese Maxey Over 4.5 assists (+126)

Josh Hart Helps Others Too
I’m not sure if the books have been paying attention to Josh Hart or if they just don’t care but bettors have been getting very friendly numbers on him this season. He’s a do it all type so it’s tough to nail down how he’s going to hurt teams so there is that. Still, his assist numbers are what dreams are made of. Every night it seems like.
It should be known though, Josh Hart isn’t just an assist guy, he can throw it down too.

Still, we should focus on the assist market because that’s where Hart is showing out. Over his last 13 games, Hart has recorded at least four assists 10 times. One of those games was against Dallas where he dropped five dimes.
Dallas can’t cover Jonas Valanciunas which should lead to at least a couple cheap ones for Hart tonight. The Mavericks are one of the worst teams in the NBA at covering the center position. I think that will lead to Hart covering this in the first half.
- The Pick: Josh Hart Over 3.5 assists (+112)
