Week 2 of the college football season continues with the Michigan Wolverines heading to Norman to face the Oklahoma Sooners. No.15 Michigan (1-0) and No.18 Oklahoma (1-0) play at 7:30 PM ET on an ABC broadcast.
I’ve made my Michigan vs Oklahoma same-game parlay and provided the betting line as kickoff approaches.
Michigan vs Oklahoma Same-Game Parlay Picks
- Oklahoma Moneyline (-200, BetMGM)
- Over 43.5 (-115 BetMGM)
- Parlay Odds: +150 on BetMGM
Both teams enter 2025 with big expectations at quarterback. Michigan has true freshman Bryce Underwood under center, one of the highest-rated prospects in recruiting history.
On the other side, Oklahoma brings in John Mateer from Washington State. Mateer totaled 3,965 yards and 44 touchdowns last season.
Michigan has lost a significant amount of talent from its 2023 national championship-winning team, but the program has been savvy in the transfer portal during the Sherrone Moore era. Perhaps no addition is bigger than Alabama-transfer Justice Haynes. Last week, Haynes rumbled for 159 yards and three touchdowns in his debut in the Maize and Blue.
Indiana-transfer Donaven McCulley is a player to watch on the outside with his 6-foot-5 frame and effective 2023 season.
Oklahoma’s analysis begins and ends with Mateer. He threw for 392 yards and three touchdowns in a dominant debut. He found former UCLA and Wisconsin receiver Keontez Lewis for two of the touchdowns and over 100 yards in Oklahoma’s 35-3 win over Illinois State in the opener. Oklahoma has a talented backfield with incumbents Xavier Robinson and Jovantae Barnes joined by transfer Jaydn Ott and freshman Tory Blaylock.
In one of the best quarterback battles of the season, expect points to pile up. Both Michigan (34 points) and Oklahoma (35 points) got off to solid offensive starts, but they should knock off even more rust in this Week 2 showdown. Back the Sooners to win a close, somewhat high-scoring game at home.
Michigan vs Oklahoma Betting Lines
The oddsmakers have Oklahoma as a home favorite with the total ranging from 43.5 to 44.5. Over bettors should take over 43.5 at BetMGM with -115 odds. Under bettors should take the FanDuel total of 44.5 at -115 odds.
If you are backing the Sooners, you can get them -5 on Caesars (-110) or -200 on the moneyline at BetMGM. If you are picking the Wolverines, take them +5.5 on FanDuel (-110) or +175 on the moneyline at Caesars.

Previous Matchups
The two storied programs have met just once in their history – the 1976 Orange Bowl. Oklahoma’s 14-6 win helped them win the national championship, capping off an 11-1 season under legendary coach Barry Switzer. Oklahoma had eventual No.1 pick Lee Roy Selmon on their roster as well as 1978 Heisman winner Billy Sims.
Michigan finished eighth in the AP Poll after an 8-2-2 season. Michigan began the season undefeated until back-to-back losses to Ohio State and Oklahoma ended their Big Ten and national championship hopes.
