Bayern Munich (-1000) vs. Werder Bremen (+1600) (Draw +1000)
Bayern Munich will be looking to continue their unbeaten streak in the German Bundesliga as they host Werder Bremen on Saturday, October 14, at 9:30 Eastern.
The Bavarians are the heavy favorite to win the match, sitting at -1000 in the moneyline. A Werder Bremen victory will pay +1600 and the draw +1000.
The teams have met 97 times in their history and Bayern dominates the series with 47 wins, 26 losses, and 24 draws. The more recent history has been even more lopsided: Bayern hasn’t lost against Bremen in the last 13 meetings (10W, 3D). The last Bremen win was back in the 2008-09 campaign, when Bremen thumped Bayern Munich 5-2.
After seven complete fixtures in the 2014-15 Bundesliga, Bayern is on top of the table with 17 points (5W, 2D, 0L) and a +13 goal differential. In contrast, Werder Bremen is in last place with four points (0W, 4D, 3L) and a -6 goal differential.
On paper, Guardiola’s team should have a pretty easy game against Werder Bremen next Saturday.  Even if the team is more focused on its upcoming Champions League matchup against AS Roma (Tuesday, October 15), Bayern’s talent should have little difficulty prevailing at home.
