The first game involving a ranked team during Week 12 of the college football season is Thursday when #17 Tulane hosts SMU in the American Athletic Conference.

Tulane (8-2) had its five-game win-streak end Saturday with a 31-24 loss to visiting UCF but is favored by 2.5 points against the Mustangs. SMU (6-4) won at South Florida 41-23 to run its winning streak to three games.

Four games involving ranked teams are on the schedule for Saturday: #21 Illinois (7-3) vs #3 Michigan (10-0) in the Big Ten, #1 Georgia (10-0) vs #24 Kentucky (6-4) in the SEC and #8 USC (9-1) vs #12 UCLA (8-2) and #13 Utah (8-2) vs #6 Oregon (8-2) in the Pac-12.

USC vs UCLA Opening Odds & Prediction

USC can wrap up at least a share of the Pac-12 regular season title when it visits crosstown rival UCLA at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif. The Bruins need a win to keep any hope alive of reaching the conference championship game. USC opened as a 2.5-point favorite.

On Friday night, USC routed Colorado 55-17 at home for its third straight win. Caleb Williams passed for 268 yards and three touchdowns.

Williams accounted for five touchdowns in all as he also ran for two scores. Former Buffaloes wide receiver Braeden Rice had 70 yards receiving and one TD.

UCLA was upset by Arizona 34-28 at home. The Bruins are just 2-2 in their last four games following a 6-0 start to the season.

Zach Charbonnet rushed for 181 yards and three touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough for UCLA.

It has been a while since this game carried so much importance. Look for Williams and the Trojans to rise to the occasion.
