Miami, though, is where winning streaks go to die for Cleveland. The Cavaliers are 1-21 straight up in their last 22 games in South Beach against the Heat.
Regardless, oddsmakers are backing Cleveland in this game. The Cavaliers are 1.5-point road favorites over the Heat. Cleveland is 5-13 against the spread in the last 18 games against Miami.

The Cavaliers are reporting no injuries.
Cavaliers On High After Win Over Celtics
Cleveland is coming to South Beach following arguably the club’s most significant win over the season. Led by 40 points from guard Donovan Mitchell, the Cavaliers beat the NBA’s #1 team the Boston Celtics 118-114 in overtime on Monday.

Evan Mobley added 25 points, 17 rebounds and three blocks for the Cavs, who improved to 7-0 in OT this season. Playing without All-Star Game MVP Jayson Tatum, Boston blew a 14-point fourth-quarter lead.
Heat Keeps Turning On and Off
Back-to-back home-court wins over the Atlanta Hawks in their last two games marked the first time in 10 games that Miami had posted consecutive victories. The Heat are 2-7 SU since a three-game win streak from Feb. 8-11.

Miami’s 130 points in Monday’s win over Atlanta was the second-most points scored by the Heat in a game this season. It was the team’s biggest offensive explosion since Nov. 12. Forward Jimmy Butler led the attack with 26 points. Victor Oladipo (22 points) and Caleb Martin (21) each topped 20 points coming off the bench. On the flip side, Miami allowed a season-high 70 points in the paint.
Cavaliers vs Heat Prediction
All the underlying head-to-head metrics on this game are saying bet Miami. The Heat are on 13-5 ATS and 13-4 SU runs against the Cavaliers.
Sports is very much a results-driven industry and lately, the results are running cold for the Heat. Miami has won three of its last nine games. The Heat are 3-11 ATS over their last 14 games. Miami is an NBA-worst 23-40-3 ATS this season, a 36.5% cover rate. It’s even worse at home, where Miami is also last overall at 29% (9-22-2).
Meanwhile, Cleveland is 3-1 SU and ATS in the club’s last four games. The Cavaliers are 10-4 SU in their last 14 games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven road games.
Pick:Â Cleveland Cavaliers -1.5 (-110)
